How to swap a 01-05 5.3 motor to a 07 truck that also has a 5.3

What body style is the 2007?

 

If it's a new body style 2007 with the AFM engine, you can not install an older engine into it. They are completely different generations and nothing will work.

Sell it and buy the right motor as it is more aggravation than it's worth.
