Reaching boiling point

So the 3 times the dealer has done any work on the truck, the tech leaves a mess behind. First time I had oil hand prints all over my bumper and rims, second time (they dropped the headliner to seal the fin until the new one came) my sunglass holder/dome light was coated in oil...and now the big one, after the second time of dropping the liner, they left smeared grease all over the trim that holds the liner in place, I tried using a damp cloth and wiping it off but its almost stained..I'm livid and not sure how to approach this, the repair was done about a month or two ago and I'm just now noticing it( I rarely use my back seat). I decided to wait until morning to call the service manager, but I don't want to come out as a prick..but you would think they would have some dignity.

It's a pick up truck so you should probably just chill...

on second thought "they" may be politely suggesting you go elsewhere for your service concerns.

How would you feel, if you paid for a plumber to change your toilet, and you end up finding terd smears all over the wall after they left? What I don't understand is how they managed to get chassis grease inside the cab..the oil prints on the bumper I shrugged off as shit happens

You may have gone past the time limit (statute of limitations) on this one. Quote "the repair was done about a month or two ago"

I would probably just get some proper cleaner and wipe the chit off and move on, it really does not sound like it is worth the hassle??

Right, I've had that thought too. But I feel like I need to bring this up during my next service. I should not have to go home and clean up the mess left behind, I get it techs have busy days and get dirty..but is it that hard to switch gloves or wash your hands before touching somebodys interior?

After the first 2 episodes, I'm pretty sure I'd have checked the truck before leaving the dealer on the 3rd visit.

Complain but you may not get much satisfaction being so long after the service. I would try to find another dealer if possible. They sound like hacks.

I know I know, I should of learned my lesson early on. Aside from the messy techs, I have no complaints about the dealer. I'm thinking I might just speak with the service manager and just inform him my past issues, its too late to go in beating the war drum but I think I should atleast pass it on.

You're right it is a truck. A very nice, expensive truck that the OP obviously wants to maintain and keep nice. I never understood this mentality of "it's a pickup truck", so who gives a hoot.

My last visit with the dealer for an oil change, they took pictures and a video of my truck before service for this purpose exactly.
