I've got the Deep Forest Green Metalic '15, GMC SLE 1500 dc 4x4. The colour is a $550 option. It's sweet when washed + in the sun-unfortunately kinda a rare moment...

My 2016 is Mahogany Metallic which was only available in 16, but it is a real head turner as very few are around.  But my last 2 have been Black!

Black trucks get hot in the sun. There were not too many colors to choose from on our Silverado, so we bought white.

In Texas I got my best deals on dark vehicles till the last one is white. I dealt with it with remote start and monthly pass to a blue wave car wash for 20$ per month. Contrary to what you here their soft cloth brushes don’t scratch. Once a year wax, dark is no problem.
