Disappointed with 2019

I can't be the only one to say it. The 2019s are so disappointing. And here's why for me, can anyone convince me otherwise?

1. No radar cruise control
2. Stop start garbage
3. No panoramic sunroof (not that I care, but I know most do)
4. All this R&D into dynamic fuel management and the mpg rating hasn't changed
5. Carbon fiber bed? Waste of R&D
6. You can't get the 6.2 or the 10 speed in the lower trimmed trucks
7. Gauge cluster actually looks worse than the outgoing model's (cheap but more feature laden)
8. No classic square arches
9. Looks way too overstyled, the "old" truck was a handsome beast
10. Still waxing frames after all these years
11. The box sides are now so tall that unless you're Yao Ming, you can't reach over the sides
12. The engine bay is now more cramped and for no reason, the radiators have been pushed back towards the engine and there's a brace on either side of the engine that encroach on the space around it

What exactly is the benefit of getting a new truck? As far as I can tell they made it worse. Think I'll be keeping my 17 for a long time!

The looks are growing on me on the outside, inside is cheapish, but I'v only seen an RST on inside.  I've driven one (the RST Z71) and it drives real nice.  It is a great driving truck actually.  Maybe by the time my lease is up they will have done a looks update like they did in '16 after two years.  If not, I may explore a cheap crew cab Ford with a 5.0.  The dealership I work for also owns a Ford store just down the road.

While the carry over interior has aged and is in need of an overhaul, I am not too sure on the outside. It is so busy and does not know what direction the lines want to flow. Got to give this Homer Mobile a few more months to grow on me.

I believe my entire 2018 dash and layout looks better. I don't know why it is so hard for GM to make an improvement here.

I agree with 2,4,6 &7 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

These trucks are already expensive enough. Adding a Panoramic Sunroof would only make things worse.

Who really needs an entire Roof of Glass? Maybe if you ever rolled a vehicle over, it would change your mind.

Oh, and the price is disappointing.  The RST Z71 I drove stickered for $55,??? and had cloth seats and pass front seat was manual adjust, not power.

While of course nobody NEEDS it, it would be nice if the option was there for those that do.

Start/stop disable is a simple switch on the dash I thought I read. I drive 90% highway, so I don't see it being an issue especially with a disable switch right there.

I've liked the exterior styling of the 19 Chevy since I first saw it. As I mentioned in another post, the gauge cluster was a step backward IMO.

DFM is a bit scary. Especially when newly introduced. I'd want to wait a few years before going near it. 5.3 AFM with 6sp is still available, correct?

With 6 power train options across the line, They cover a wide area.

Imagine how much the diesel option will increase this.

I do like how they finally added ac vents in the rear.

Choose the year in the drop box on the left.

OK  I just went back over the site.  As of last week you could build a 2019 1500, looks like they removed that option for some reason.
