Panoramic views arent just for star gazers and parades. I would definitely buy a panoramic roof...I currently have a sunroof and the top is down 95% of the time (excluding January/February). I dont like to be claustrophobic in a vehicle..... I want as much light and feeling of "space" as possible in my vehicle.

Go ask the 2019 RAM guys about the new panoramic sunroof... tons of complaints about the AC not cooling on the 2019 RAM.  A lot of the AC issues they have is due to all that glass on the roof baking the inside so hot - even with the shade shut.   panoramic sunroof may not be such a good idea, especially in the south.

That is all great if you live in a warm weather climate.

Here in the Midwest a sunroof/moonroof is good for about oh.... 6 months.

I love mine but it stays closed Nov-Feb  LOL

Ford guys also have problems with their "Roof Windows" also.

Unless it is a day under 80 degrees and no humidity, a panoramic roof will bake you like a turkey in an oven! :smash:

But to each their own. I would not jump ship on a brand just to have an entire roof made of glass.

I'm one who hates any hole in my roof. Standard or extra long. But to each their own. And there is where the problem come in. If they offered a panoramic sunroof it would probably come in a package that included other options you couldn't get otherwise. It would be nice if those that wanted the faux convertible  could get it by itself without driving the cost of the option packages up but I don't believe GM is about that. My wife's 18 Equinox came with the " Sun, Sound and navigation " package. That was the only way to get the panoramic sunroof ( which she say she likes but has never opened the shade or roof) was to get that package.

I’m sure it’s nice, I’ve had a sunroof in all my vehicles and thanks to the 11 months out of the year of unrelenting heatwaves I’ve been unable to enjoy them, prefer a convertible to a sun magnifying fish tank [emoji274]but even a convertible has its do’s and don’t drive time of day. Just a selling attraction.

I live in Texas, the bigger the sunroof the faster you cook. [emoji67]‍[emoji505]

I noticed the vents in the 19  sierra also. My 2012 had vents in the back my 2015 does not, so I guess more people complained about it and they brought them back

I with you, but it seems important to some people that share their truck with the wife, etc.  Personally, I have only touched the power pedal and memory seat switch on the 2016 one time.
