Just to put out there to the group, if anyone hears of a 4" lift being brought to market please let me know.

All these companies are focusing on the big lifts which I understand, its SEMA, go big or go home right?

I think it won't be until Summer of 2019, BUT just putting feelers out there if anyone comes across a 4".

Thanks!

Big E- are you aware of any 4” lifts that were rolled out at Sema? So our choices are Procomp 6”- just released, RC 6” and 2” lev kit, BDS 6” and Fabtech 6” all being released within a month? I’m really thinking the 4” will look perfecto, but don’t want to wait 6 plus months. I may just pull the trigger on the 6” Procomp and get this over with! I’ve got a black Z71 LTZ and can’t find a better looking wheel than the 3 yr old vapors. I believe the spokes aren’t matte, but rather a gloss or at least satin with a matte wheelwell

Hey Nugg, We have the same truck it sounds like, Black Z71 LTZ.

I am definitely doing the Vapors on mine with 35” Nitto Ridge Grapplers, but waiting on a 4” kit to release.

I would say say from the information I have collected over the last 30 days IMO go with Procomp or BDS.

Ill be jealous as hell if you go with the 6” but just promise to post pictures for myself & Sierra Dan. I am ready to pull the trigger on lifting too but am stuck on going 4”. I do not think any lift companies have even started discussions 4” lifts for production so like you said, it will be several months I am sure before one comes to market.

I do, blk ltz 6.2. Local lift shop called me on the 6” Procomp. If the 4”s aren’t coming out soon, I’ll just hop on the 6” procomp. It’ll be the Vapors or the Zephrys on Nittos or BFG. Will def send you and dan pics and ride quality. Small chance I may do the 2” leveling kit but that’ll change the wheel / tire setup, and I know I’d likely get a lift once I see them around town. I just don’t understand why the heck everyone is going straight to 6”, if I was in the biz I’d come out with a 4” right out of the gate.

Oh I have the 5.3L in mine so not totally twins.

since I am going Vapor, you go Zephyr LOL

i think in the lift world they see it as 6” is the norm, you know higher is better thinking. With the new setup, the lift companies had to totally redesign a new lift, but granted, to make a 4” just make it 2” shorter than the 6” you just created you’d think? Why couldn’t they come out at the same time?

Procomp Does plan on making a 4" kit in the future but no ETA at this time.

Most of the time i only see guys going with the 4" to fit their vehicle in their garage.  Which most guys realize after installing a 4" kit they still cant fit their truck in the garage because they don't think to add the height of bigger tires as well.

4" kits are not nearly as popular as 6" lift kits.  4" chevy kits were never as popular as chevy and dodge because you could only fit a 33" tall tire on a 4" kit which seemed worthless when a leveling kit fits the same size tire and a 6" was needed to fit 35's.  Since ford and dodge can fit 35's with leveling kits, the 4" kits were more popular with those models.  Maybe now that chevy can fit a 35" tall tire with the leveling kit and trail boss package the 4" lift may be more sought after.

So are you saying I can fit a 35" tire on my 2019 with just a leveling kit? I want to put on a 22x12  -44  with a 35" tire

You’re definitely NOT fitting that setup with just a leveling kit

LOL No unfortunately with that wheel you will definitely not be able to fit that size of a tire.

Here are photos of a 2019 TRAILBOSS with a Pro Comp leveling kit and 35's.

Sorry the photo of the white silverado with procomp wheels and tires has a 6" kit installed.  The white silverado with the open country tires is a leveling kit with 35's.  Wrong photo.

So what’s the minimum lift I’d need for that? I’m looking to only lift the truck what I need to.
