I have a 2015 Colorado Z71. While driving the radio will go to the browse menu and sometimes freeze there. None of the touch screen functions will work. This happens with both radio and pandora.

Took it to dealership they did some update to software, but issue continues.

Anyone had had this issue also?  If so what’s solution?

thank you

I also have the problem with my 2019 canyon. I called the dealer they said to uninstall my phone then pair it back after each update. No clue why this would work. It’s the radio not the phone. And the heat stops working when the radio freezes. It’s happened 3 times in 1/2 drive

My 2015 Serria is doing the same thing. I took it to the dealer three weeks ago  and they said they updated the system that runs the display. it did it again yesterday so its at the dealer now. Warranty runs out the end of next month!!! am going to ask lots of questions when I pick it up and I will post my findings. It's a shame these things happen when they cost so much. It will be in the shop until they find the problem.

I have a 2019 that the radio over the last 2 months will lock up, each time this has happened it has a different issue, after one up date it did not work.  Once this past week the radio stayed on one station, most of the buttons did not work, another time the radio was completely silent the screen was black.  I also have a ton of false warnings from the traffic avoidance system, it will go off when there aren't any cars around me.  Lastly I keep getting a climate off message.  GM is a at loss at what I wrong with the truck.

2019 Canyon suddenly glitches out.  Battery dies, etc… GM knows there is a defect and they are doing nothing about it.  Truly deplorable and I won’t be buying another GMC anything.  They need to own up they have a defective system and own up to it and fix it. Some can cause sudden volume blasts, shocking the driver. GM knew of the defect.  Class action lawsuit that got dismissed. Big corporations with Big Money.  I hope more and more people fight back with GM. I know I am not going to pay a dime for the 4th time GM has looked at this vehicle and acted like I am the only one having this experience. Guess they thought we did not know Google existed
