That’s actually not true, lifted truck prices on trade in depend on region and demand. If you’re in a region that values lifted trucks and the kit is a big name kit and the truck is in good shape you’ll do well on trade. I promise the dealer won’t give you more on trade because you have kit a over kit b, just like they won’t give you more for billet wheels vs cheap cast wheels since 95% of the customers just see a shiny lifted truck and nothing more.

There are also many more good coil overs than just king, fox, and cst. Dirt logic, procomp , and icon are also quality coil overs.

Family of my best friends owns a large GMC/Chevy/Dodge dealership and actually stated that one of the first things they look at, quality lifts that WILL NOT require the dealership to pay for replacement parts that cheaper lifts tend to require at trade in. It’s one thing buying a used truck not knowing the history but add a lift to the scenario and that’s when buyer inspections get started and dealerships already want to low ball as it is. Shiny wheels is a personal preference, high quality lift is highly desired.

Coilovers are the best ride, 4.5” CST lift is approximately $1600-$1700 plus install as any lift, front $1200 coilovers and a nice pair rear shocks $200

Bling is one thing but name brand lifts differ from one another. Family of my best friends owns a large GMC/Chevy/Dodge dealership and actually stated that one of the first things they look at, quality lifts that WILL NOT require the dealership to pay for replacement parts that cheaper lifts tend to require at trade in. It’s one thing buying a used truck not knowing the history but add a lift to the scenario and that’s when buyer inspections get started and dealerships already want to low ball as it is. Forged wheels are stronger and better quality than cast, that’s a fact (look it up) however a dealer will not give you more for a truck because it has them.

A dealer will also not give you more for a truck with a cst vs a zone, fabtech, bulletproof, whiplash, showoff, Cognito, FTS, RCX, BDS, procomp, rancho, trailmaster, mcgaughys, or any other lift kit company you can think of. If you feel they will give you more for cst than all those other mentioned kits you’re just ignorant to the facts. Do you also think cst is superior to kelderman too lol? I bet some of those kits you’ve never even heard of lol

CST is just about the same price as a BDS which everyone seems to favor cause of Fox Shocks owning them after buying BDS out before going into bankruptcy and no where near the quality. Don’t take my word for it, research them. I physically compared the lifts to BDS, PROCOMP and a couple others and immediately noticed the higher quality with the CST. There’s a lifted truck and then there’s a CST lifted truck. Craftsmanship second to none.

That’s insanely expensive for bds, what options did you add to the kit? Did you add leafs or traction bars to get it that high?

I'm interested in HOW you physically compared them and what you "noticed" that was higher quality? You had to upgrade your lift to get the ride quality you swear is the best. And $1700 does not buy you a complete CST lift.

He has no clue, he just repeats what “people” tell him. He has no real world lift experience. A few weeks ago he was saying cst can easily be returned to stock lol
