Negative, standard duty and they work great. I like these because the rotors are smelted with a rust proof agent so in theory rust should never form or at least take longer to develop.

I did brakes on my 14 Silverado and I bought the GM Police vehicle rotors for it and the GM P/N for the K2 Suburban/Tahoe pads. The pads DO fit a Silverado caliper, and they have more pad material.

Truck would stop on a dime. I only had to do fronts, rears were fine. Cost me about 250 and about an hour of time.

Drilled and slotted on the bosses Acadia - LOTS more brake noise - I would not put these on my truck. I went with best from Rock Auto, so far great after a year

give carbotech a call, i have there race pads on a 2017 gti, coupled with some slicks, they pop your eyeballs out on the roadcourse. The owner mentioned to me that they also have a nice compound for the trucks. very $$$ but worth it imo.

I've ran power stops top of the line brake systems and compared to raybestos semi metalics, or A/C Delcos I did not think they were even as good. Not bad but not what they claimed to be performance wise(good marketing- and expensive for what you actually get). I when it comes time will do one of two routes: the police set (rotors and pads) from Rock Auto, or the police rotors or raybestos rotors and Hawk HD pads.

Performance wise hawk has always met or exceeded expectations. EBC's I've had (green stuff)were disappointing compared to the hawks. I've heard good things about carbotech.

If you can get them either performance friction, or raybestos semi-metallics are usually readily available and perform real well for the money. If you just want quiet and long lasting A/C delco ceramics are the way to go.

Another tip is get some real brake fluid (SRF, Motul, ATE, Performance friction, etc..) makes a huge difference with a good pad/rotor combination, well worth the extra $$. Makes a big difference on pedal feel and consistency. Wayyy better than common parts store junk.

Here's what I did and what I believe works well.

OEM Police package rotors
AC Delco Suburban/Tahoe pads

Your calipers will accommodate them and you'll stop on a dime.

At the Chevy store, dealer. He will try to sell you AC Delco but insist on OEM replacements. Factory K2** truck rotors are nitride. FYI. It's why they don't rust. Nitrite isn't a 'coating'. It's a heat treat deep surface depth. A technology that use to be high end race car. They are a very good rotor. OEM pads are ceramic even on my lowly little WT1.

May I ask how many miles you got from yours? I'm at 86K with a majority of pad yet remaining.

The one time I actually had to panic stop to prevent hitting a dear Pepper came down like I hit the wire on an aircraft carrier. I was impressed. My Vette nor my Mustangs never hit that hard.

Just got my brakes done at the dealership. Only came out to $650 for all oem all 4 corners. The rotors alone were like $80-90 a pop so it was worth it.

Had about 52k miles and my fronts were grinding. I’m in NJ so need to use my brakes a bit more than most.

I've got Wilwood slotted (not drilled) on all 4 corners. Very pricey but extremely effective. I also used stainless brake lines and performance fluid. We're talking $5k instead of $500 though.
