i wouldnt doubt it they certainly feel alot slower than other brands

Compared to?  The 5.3L is the base motor in some of the truck models.  It's significantly slower than the 6.2L.

E85 and a proper tune will wake it up nicely.  The 5.3L fanbois try to say that will give it the power of the 6.2L but the Dyno proves otherwise...but it does narrow the gap a lot.

A lot a factors will change its pace, gearing, transmission, cab size, bed size. My 5.3 is a dog and I have done a lot to wake it up. Ultimately its a great platform to build on, but stock has much to be desired.

compared to a ram 1500 v8 and ford with the 5.0. hell even the fords with the small ecoboost feel peppier than my shitbox 5.3

yeah i could spend $500 on a tune and drive 33 miles to the nearest e85 station  but at that point might as well just do twin turbos and nitrous while im at it lol

3.5L EcoBoost moves ... not sure how durable twin turbos are going to pan out for durability

Didn't expect 15.0s quarter from a stock 5.3l
