Why would anyone wanna lower anything at all is what you might as well have asked.  Why would anyone wanna lift a truck?  Why would anyone wanna leave their truck stock?

Also, if you want to pull a gooseneck trailer you might need to lower it to have enough clearance to be functional.

 

I am still looking for the best way to do that.
