4" rear flip kit??

First off, sorry if there is a thread on this, I searched with no luck.

 

I have recently purchased a 2020 gmc elevation crew cab and installed belltech drop spindles with rear drop shackles (2/2) but would like to drop 4" in the rear. I cant seem to find a 4" kit yet. Has anyone come up with a solution or know of a company who builds one? I have contacted Belltech direct and they have no plans on making a 4". Not sure that I want to c notch a truck with 1100km on it for the 6" Maybe its just not possible on this body style? 

 

P.s. This is my first gm product and first time lowering a pickup truck.

If the frames are like the K2 trucks you may need to cut the rear bump stop bracket off the frame so you don't bottom out.

That kit was listed as coming soon. But my email returned by belltech says otherwise. Not sure why?

 

I hadn't thought of using bags to add the 2" of lift with the 6" drop. And wasnt sure you could get a +2" shackle. The factory one is fairly short as is. 

 

Again I am fairly new to lowering a pickup. It's just something I have always wanted to do. If anyone has any good sources for info I'd appreciate it. YouTube channels etc

Flip kit install.

They have another video for the Beltech Shackles.  The shackles have a lot of holes, wonder if the could be used for lift as well.

Thanks, I have watched this install. He does say he bottomed out a few times driving around. It may be the route I need to take in order to achieve the proper stance. Worst case scenario is I put the notch in. I am more concerned if I were to get in an accident lets say rear ended how my insurance would feel about a notch kit in the frame?

Don’t know about the bolt in notches but when I did a welded in notch in my old S10, it was much stronger.  Basically I change it from C-channel frame to full boxed frame just smaller.

 

If you are unsure about the strength of the frame after the notch then don’t do it.  Your safety is far more important than what the insurance will say.

 

If you are pushing it back up with shackles or bags, you may not need it.  He had a full flip kit at 6”.

Hopefully this thread isn't dead, I was kind of hoping the OP had a few more pics and if he did the additional 2 inches in the rear.? Or ANY other info about the 2/4 drop from belltech.

All it is, is a flip kit and lift shackle. 
 

Of course in the last few months, options have popped up making this more a possibility.

I agree this is most likely done with a flip kit and raise shackles, but I have yet to find any 2” lift shackles.

The problem is even if you can find a 2" lift shackle there still will be very limited travel in the rear. If someone made a good set of 2" dropped leaf springs along with a 2" drop shackle that would keep the rear under the leaf spring and the rear would still have decent travel.

      He does, actually. In another unrelated video he mentions the president called him in the middle of the night to relay some information on a cause (religious based) that he's invested in. Glenn expressed concern that another leftist administration could wield too much power with some procedure the Pentagon was using, classifying certain religions a certain way. Being that he is LDS (Latter Day Saints), he gets hate all the time from ALL over the political spectrum, so he's invested in this. Trump called him back at 5AM to tell him he had made some changes to that classification.   So, yes, they are and have been in contact regularly since the start of the administration. Glenn, of course, always asks his permission before discussing anything on the air.   I already spent an hour or more just searching for these videos. I may have my numbers wrong - I'm not a numbers guy. It may have been a MILLION barrels, not 1.5. The point is, our President, by his actions, gives a crap about America, and US - this is completely OPPOSITE the actions of the prior administration who projected hatred for anyone who wasn't following the left's edicts in lock-step.   Remember, they called January 6th an "Insurrection", when there were ZERO weapons among the crowd, undercover FBI agents agitating the crowd, along with paid leftists acting as aggressors, egging the crowd on in an attempt to whip everyone into a frenzy. It's all been proven.  Pelosi refused Trumps request for more National Guard troops. This smells 100% like an inside job for those with critical thinking skills.       Hello, Im in a bit of a bind maybe someone could help me out.  We towed our trailer, up a pretty steep incline (395 north of Bishop) done it before no issues. I got to our campground turn truck off, i restarted the truck about an hour later  and check engine light turns on. Found DTC P2C48,  unable to reset.  This morning i removed the plug, there's 12.12v at the plug. Reservoir near firewall is full of coolant, checked for leaks nothing. I dont hear or feel the pump turning on. My dilemma, is nearest dealer  is 4hrs away that has the pump instock. Is it safe to drive? By me checking the available voltage at the connector and not hearing/feeling pump turn on, is it a bad pump? Please help...

      The figure bandied about is "100 million barrels" so I think a decimal is off somewhere. But that doesn't change the outcome much when the expected flow through the Strait through over the same time should have been more than 2,000,000,000.   So 5%, if that number is even true, and there's sufficient data to believe it's not. Give that man another Fifa peace prize! 5% is less than the flow of a grapefruit-sized prostate blocking the release of cheap lager after a night of bingo.
