I have the SU5 in my 2020 RST and the chirping started at 15,000 miles.

Wow, I think you are the first with an SU5 front diff that I have read of having the JingleJingle noise!  :(

Go after them as I did. File for a lemon law buy back. Study your states lemon law rules. Go after them I won my case you can too. No one should have to listen to that racket.

Considering there is currently no fix for this issue my GM my dealer told me to call back every month to check if parts are available until then He said there is nothin he can do.  He also said the issue is not safety related so he cannot keep it at the dealership.  How do I file for lemon law for this issue when my lemon law states that there must be 3 attempts made to fix the problem or 30 days out of service?  Considering no attempts can be made because of no parts available I think I do not have a case.  By the way I am new to this site and just turned 8000 miles on my 2019 GMC Sierra Elevation edition and the noise just started and is worse by the day.  Not happy!

No. The new 2020 is jingle free.

So I just discovered yesterday that my 2020 now has the jingle. Discovered it at 2,500 miles. Have you heard it yet on yours? I’ve already gone through the damn buy back and got my 2019 replaced and I’m not going through that again...

The No Parts available for a known defect is a case. Contact the BBB and get going. Trust me this issue is well known to the BBB and GM. Once the ball is rolling I will be willing to help anyone here with there cases. Will be happy to give you my name and case numbers to verify GM re purchased mine for the same issue. just PM me when the time comes. If mine was repurchased yours should be too.

I am currently in the lemon buyback process and have been since June 6th. You have to stay on top of GM to get anything done. Do not give up the fight. They have tried demanding repair attempts and their final repair attempt. Not possible with no parts.

I hate to say it but I will no longer going with the Silverado. This is my second lemon case in two years. Still staying with GM since I do not want to take a financial loss on an inferior product. Going to give the new 21 Suburban a shot. If that one causes trouble, guess I will be doing a lot more walking.

I will be very happy to surrender all of my BBB papers and decision declarations.

I was just told by my service department that there is a fix for this axle issue but due to the Coronavirus parts are not available.  Is this statement really true? I was under the impression that GM does not exactly have a fix for the problem and therefore parts are not available.  Which statement is true?

So SU5 axles won’t fix the issue?

I have the SU5 on my 2020 and it’s making the same sound. Was told there was no fix. Beyond ridiculous and embarrassing for GM.

Do you have anymore info on this fix such as a TSB or PIP number, I'd like to pass it on to my Service Advisor?

Maybe it's the jingle jangle of a thousand lost souls who spent their lives trying to get their GM trucks fixed:

Meanwhile, Elwood and I are driving down to the RAM dealer to trade the Bluesmobile on a new Power Wagon.
