Looks like a good days work you put into your truck!

After you have looked at both lower panels, do you think a person would be able to cut the switch mounting hole out of the existing panel and the switches would clip in?

Just want to let you guys know that originalgmautoparts.com has 84942073. They operate out of Vic Canever Chevrolet in Fenton, MI. $150 including tax for the whole kit. I live local so I went and picked it up this morning to save the shipping cost. I asked them how they got it because so many of us are having issues finding it. He said it was not an issue at all. Parts were on site in 3 days. Told him I was putting his info on this forum and to expect some orders. :)

That's still a deal compared to buying each piece separately.

Holy crap!  I was just expecting the switches and wiring but it arrived with a complete new interior panel for under the dash/steering wheel with the switch panel cut out. This has to be one of the cheapest GM parts I’ve ordered in years.  Great but for $200 shipped.

Yeah man! I still can’t decide what I want to wire to them.

Thinking footwell lights on one
Light bar/pods on another
Rear bumper lights on the third

Then?

What is the purpose of part number 84688686. When I look it up on gm parts it appears to be the switch for the parking assist and lane departure. Also, I noticed a comment about the 4th and 5th Aux switches being unusable because they are dedicated elsewhere. Can anyone confirm?

So all these part numbers you listed there, do I need to purchase all those pieces for the auxillary switches to work? I am heading to the dealer today to sign for my new truck and would like to just order them right away.

Great thread everybody, I have read it from beginning to end and think I finally have a good understanding of what's in front of me.

I only have one question. I have not read where anyone did this on a 2021 3500HD DRW Denali with keyless start.

Anybody have any insight for me that makes this different than the 1500 or 2500 install for keyless starts?

Again thanks for everyone who took the time to detail this out. Great job.

It's the same as a 2500. Just make sure you get the correct kit/knee bolster.

What did you end up figuring out for the connector cover?

It should be in the bag. You need to put it thru the firewall first, then install the connector over the crimped end.
