Thx Wakinvol.

So just to confirm, those are the GoRhino D6 Dominators in your pic? Just want to make sure cuz I’m definitely leaning towards them....they look awesome on your truck.

Looks like they’re snug to the body and don’t hang too low....and they don’t stick out too much (when looking from behind the truck)?
Really appreciate your input.

Yes they are.  I had a hard time deciding what to get...but glad I chose them.  They are perfect.

Also they don’t have the tabs that hang down below like the D20’s.  They call them a slider which might be a stretch but they are smooth on the underside.

Awesome.....really appreciate your help.  I also had a hard time deciding....but seeing them on your truck convinced me that’s what I want.  I just ordered a pair and I might ask my Line-X guy if he can put a coat on them before installation.....I think he usually charges $250 for coating a pair of running boards, but I’m gonna see if he can lower that since these Dominators won’t require any real prepping/taping/etc....the Line-X should make them impervious to New England weather conditions so we’ll see.

Thanks again.

I drilled out the rivets that were holding the GoRhino plate/tab on the top side and removed it.  That’s the only mod I had to make to them.

I was finally able to order these and install the same weekend, after daaaays of deciding between these Go Rhino RB20s or the NFab Podiums. Im glad I went with these Go Rhinos since its flat all the way through and that helps me wash and clean the top part of the truck without needing to watch my footing as much. The texture feels just like the line-x I have in the bed of my truck which I had done a few days after installing these boards. I tried to take pics of all angles and I think theyre badass!!

I wish these N-Fabs fit a little higher to hide the pinch weld. They're solid though and made in the good ol' USofA.

Did those RB20s help reduce rock chips in rocker panels?

They look great!  Kinda remind me of the OEM High Clearance steps.

Correcting this post, since doing a bit of research on the bolt patterns and finding out the differences in measures of the rear door (crew vs. double cab) for fit. It was frustrating at first, as I was a bit annoyed how low the truck sits for simple oil changes and how few applications for double cabs with steps that didn't take away too much ground clearance.

I'm running GM 84011396-622495034 chromed aluminum running boards, at 81.5 inches.

Havoc HS2 / Nfab Podiums, Westin Outlaws, Westin HDX series and the OE GM Sport Steps. Havoc/Nfabs slipped in for stainless, good reviews.

I almost pulled the trigger on the great looking Westin HDX, but couldn't pass up the Nfab Podiums with discounted price, making them substantial cheaper than HDX and even significantly cheaper than those GM sport step of up to $500+ over the Podiums.

I think I'll be happy with them, since I'm planning on at least a level or mild lift and they look great on the trucks posted here.

Installed a pair of the Westin HDX Extreme's today.  3 hour install time, of which 1.5 hours of it was spent trying to figure out how to start 6 of the 24 bolts. . . .

I might pull together and post an install guide for these which has the trick I used, would probably save others some time.

Ground clearance is 11", and I do not have a levelling kit.  (Factory suspension/Rake)

Just joined the forum and stumbled upon this thread. I haven't see any post with full length nerf bars. Let me say that the rear bracket is a huge PIA to install if you have the well liners. So far I have loved these steps especially the third step to get items out of the bed. It makes me wonder why you don't see this style very often. If there is a critical reason not to have steps that tie into the bed please let me know.
