I have 2018 Suburban with 6L80 Trans. Recently started seeing temperatures as high as 270F with normal driving on highway or even around town after an hour of driving. I am wondering if this is a Trans temperature sensor problem. The trans cooler lines into and out of the radiator are at 150F. So my thinking is one of the following. 1) Thermal bypass valve malfunction, 2) Clogged or partially clogged trans cooler lines, 3) malfunction in the report of the temperature. I intend to replace with the newer 85585333 GM bypass valve. But I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this situation. I can't find anything on the internet about temps for this trans this high.
Hi
I have a 26 1500 Denali (not the ultimate). Previously had a 23 3500 Denali. The sound quality of the 2026 is inferior to what was in the 2023. Window sticker says, "Bose Premium sound System". Does not sound "premium".
I think this is the 7-speaker system. It is unsatisfactory and I feel GM cheated me on this premium priced truck.
Does anyone know of a way to upgrade the system, or name of an expert installer in Las Vegas - St. George area that can do this? Note: not interested in huge "thump" - don't want a giant subwoofer under the rear seat. Just looking for an upgrade path.
Thanks for your help.
The Suburban is great the 2026 is good except for the wind noise and rattles I had a 2024 RST 3.0 no rattles or wind noise the 2015 Suburban was also great. Just tired of trying to get this problem fixed. MY 2016 Silverado was great the 2008 Suburban was great the 2004 GM SLT was great.
