Hi All,

I'm looking for some advice on purchasing tonneau cover from www.ToughAutoParts.com what are the best type of covers, hard/soft?

I have 2019 GMC Sierra 5'7 bed and interested in buying Bakflip or Extang (Hard) $800+ or Truxedo $300 for soft roll up. Any advice will be great!

I have the undercover ultraflex and could not be more happy with it.  Great customer service as well.  I was missing a small part to hold it in the upright position and they overnighted me a pack of 5 of them even though I needed one.

I also went with the gator hard tri-fold ($600-ish), but regardless of brand, which style/material do you like more. Originally i was going with the soft material because it was cheaper (around $200 I think), but didn't care for how it look. However, i decided to pay the extra amount for the style I really like and couldn't be happier.

I went with the Bak BakFlip MX4 trifold hard cover....

Had it on my Colorado for several years and loved it.

Didn't disappoint on my Silverado......very nice and works well.

I have a Bakflip on the wife's Canyon.  Easy install.

Consider what you might use it for:  If you put Bicycles / motorcycles in the bed, some tonneaus just wont work.

Bakflip seemed to be the best fit for us.

Used a Tonneau Pro on my 14 and 19,seemed to hold up pretty good, easy on and off.

I have the Bak Revolver X4. Hard roll up seemed to be the option for me. I like the roll up, easier than folding my old MX4 panels. And being hard, it actually gives some modicum of security over a soft cover than can get defeated by a knife or by stomping on it.

I looked at everything multiple times and ended up going with the retraxone garage door style, got it on sale from 4wd parts for 15% off with free shipping.  It takes up some bed space but the ease and security really pushed the decision over the edge.  I coupled that with a bed rug and it basically gives me a huge functional trunk with dry storage and security.  I looked at the hard covers over and over again but the retrax won for me.  All the options people are giving are all quality and you can't go wrong.  The only thing that worried me about the soft covers was they can sag, but a proper soft cover will be fine.

If you haven't bought one yet and are still on the market right now is the best time, it seems like internet-wide every site is having a 15% off flash sale this weekend on everything BAK. I just purchased the BAK F1 tonneau cover from realtruck.com
