I don't care about the insurance or the cost of the weapon. It's the fact that an unsecured weapon may be used by someone who would never be able to possess that weapon legally, to use it against a person or for illegal activity. We've got to be responsible owners at all times. It only gives the anti-gun people more to use against us when our stolen weapons are used in these incidents.

Yeah that’s the reason I like to lock mine up when my truck is out of sight. Also the reason I have 4 gun safes scattered across the house. The safe I had in my old trucks center console didn’t fit in the new jump seat. Have a local guy interested in swapping me his center console for my jump seat, once I get that sorted out I’ll look for some type of fast access safe for the truck.

 Only exception is work because I don’t want to lose my job.

How would they ever know... do you plan on taping it to your forehead?

The # 1 rule of gun fighting? Have a gun.. last I checked low lives aren’t making appointments to do their dirty work so it’s best to have your gun close by at all times.

My brother in law has a small revolver that has a case that looks like a wallet. He has a clip for his license and credit card. It’s always on him. That’s just the way it is. I thought about it I’m just not there. I do feel safer with him.

On my 16 duramax I had screwed a magnet under center console lid so when I opened it was rite there had my stubby in a holster at all times there! Worked perfect! Trying figure something out for my new one! Ordered the safe but wanting something faster access! There is a mod for in the center cup holders on YouTube that I may being doing! Check it out!

Grumpy isn’t allowed to carry in his leftist paradise without jumping through a million hoops and spending a fortune. So he tries to convince others they don’t need to. Sad.

My G42 in a sticky holster fits nicely just about anywhere, but I’m kinda with the others who don’t feel comfortable leaving it unsecured. If no metal detector I would just bring it into work. The point of CCW is the first “C”. Should never be known unless you need to use it. And then who cares.

Never leave it in a car. That’s asking for trouble. If a store doesn’t want my business I’m sure there are plenty others that do.

Say what you will but, every time someone is being attacked they turn to a man with a gun, some people would just rather be their own man than call another man with a gun (cops) to bail em out.

A gun in the hand is worth more than the whole police department on the phone.

I agree with Thejet07, find another store.

Best thought on the topic so far.

When we got old enough to learn to use a gun dad taught us guns are for killing things you point them at and if you point a gun at something it better die first pull. Beside don't miss and get it taken away from you to be used on you or don't wound the hunt to crawl off and suffer to death............................I took this to be true as well;

The act of carrying a gun  "signifies an intent to kill".

It is premeditation

Don't leave it loose in the truck. If you must, use a trigger lock and empty it.
