I've seen 55 footers just above Elephant Bute blown off I-25 like blowing out a birthday candle. There's a year around blow.

So this isn't a corona dumb thing but just dumb. So I have never driven in New Jersey, but I just drove through it, and why the hell can I not pump my own gas. I thought this was gone these. I get out of the truck and try to get gas and the person comes out yelling at me.

Not being funny, how old are you?  Back in the day this was called "full service".  This is not unusual across the country, I know they also do this in Oregon.  I told the guy don't perpetrate full service, if you're going to do it you might as well do it right.  Check the fluid levels, tire pressure, hoses, and clean the windshield.  Or else I'll be looking for a discount.

I grew up in New Jersey. You can’t pump your own gas. Funny though gas is usually cheaper in New Jersey.

Just pumped gas same station in the Bronx a few days ago is now .15 cents more. Can’t wait for the old regime to kick in. Back to $4.50 a gallon soon I bet

I remember it back in the day, but I thought it was all gone now. I know a few places that have both full and self, but just didn't think any place still doesn't allow seld service.

Just wait till you can't plug in your own EV. [emoji1787]

I don't know what part of Jersey you're in, but I found has to be more expensive there. I lived in just north of Philly in Bucks County from 2015-2017.

There's also a few gas stations in Philly and the northern suburbs where they won't let you pump your own gas. They're also more expensive than the competitor across the street that let's you pump your own gas by about $0.10/gallon.

Maybe it’s changed in the last few years. When I was traveling from Texas to New Jersey (where I grew up). Gas was usually cheaper. I was helping my uncle who was starting a devision of the family business. The scuttled butt was refineries close by?

A little lite digging I find New Jersey recently added a 10 cent tax per gallon. Got to love those blue states, kick you while you’re down.

I read talk of folks wearing 2 masks.  It would be dumb for me to wear double because my mask is so thick, I wouldn't have to be concerned with covid.  Why, I would be dead of suffocation first.  Went up 6 flights of stairs the other day, oxygen got really thin.

Wearing 2 makes doesn't make sense, but taking a handkerchief that's folded in half and tying it around your head so it's used as a mask makes a lot of sense. Confusing times we're living in nowadays.

A short while ago we discarded out single layer mask for multi layer ones. But it was more for the better fit than the extra ply. Every once in awhile we do something for another reason that turns out good for yet another. I was shoveling snow the other day and wearing it for the warmth and it's the first time wearing one I had to slow my pace to keep my breath. Interesting I thought to myself. Personally I'm not in a hurry to do much of anything anymore. I expect 35 years smoking has more to do with it than my mask. (Quit seven years ago and it does improve)

      I agree, simplicity and reliability matter more as vehicles get more complicated. A V8 work truck option with fewer electronic features and a stronger warranty would definitely appeal to a lot of buyers who use their trucks for real work. Customizing it with trusted outfitters is often the best way to get exactly what you need.webcrimsNY

      I’ve heard similar complaints from newer vehicles where the factory “premium” systems don’t always live up to expectations. A good installer should be able to improve the sound without turning it into a bass-heavy setup. I’d look into upgrading the front speakers, adding a quality DSP amplifier, and possibly improving sound deadening first—those changes usually make a much bigger difference than just adding a subwoofer. Hopefully someone local can recommend a reputable installer in the Las Vegas/St. George area.

      Do you remember that Harley Davidson was more successful (solvent) when it produced about 60% of the market demand (by design) and forced wait times of up to three years? Even when your turn came around it was, "Take what we are giving you or move to the back of the line and start over". HUGE markup's were 'normalized' and dealer killed. 40% markup and no floor plan? What's not to love? Greed will kill them yet. They have surplus production and customer base is tanking. And still they think nosebleed pricing will work.

      The engine was done as part of the 6.2 recall?   You'd have to see if your VIN also has the 6.2 engine special coverage on it.  Coverage number is N252494003.  If you have this, your engine is covered under this and NOT the GM replacement part engine warranty which is 3yr/100k from the date of install.  The 3yr/100k mi warranty is in effect for non warranty purchases.     This is not any different if it was replaced under warranty without a recall or special coverage.  So if you had a 5.3 and it popped at 3 years in at 50,000mi during the 5yr/60k powertrain, the replacement engine would not get the 3yr/100k, and instead gets the remainder of the 5yr/60k as coverage.     So N252494003 gives 10 years or 150,000mi of coverage, which ever comes first, starting at the vehicle in service date.  So if your in service date is 01/01/2022, N252494003 gives you special coverage of the engine until 01/01/2032 or 150,000mi, whichever comes first.  So if your start date was 01/01/2022, you'd have left 5 years and 4 months (lets round to august 1st), or 62,000mi left of coverage.   So you need to know your in service date to know how much coverage is left.

      Okiee dokie there bud, way to take things to the extreme.   I guess you missed the whole point and take things way to serious. I installed different EV6 style injectors that just so happen to be larger in my car running the same LQ4 engine and with a better spray pattern than the stock style injectors and I noticed no difference in the idle quality. Kinda was my round about way of saying that even if you put the same size but better style injectors in your truck, you will likely see the same thing.    I'm sure you're great to have conversations with in person if that's how you act through a keyboard. One little things sets you off and now I guess my dick is all up in your face.
