*4.3 engine replacement*

I need help finding out what year motors I could possibly use to replace a 2016 chevy silverado 4.3L EcoTec3 V6 I've had people tell me 2007 and up but I'm not sure. And help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

The engine is direct injected, so it must be from a 2014+ truck.

 

The engine code is LV3.

Just a question Cameron. Would the LV1 work here as well?

Would it fit, yeah because it's the same engine.

 

Would it be a direct replacement that is drop in and go, no it would not. That is the non AFM engine used in vans. Would require a tune to make that work.

Will the 4.3 from a 2019 Silverado fit a 2015 Silverado? I’m told it won’t fit. Not sure why. I know it Is missing the vacuum pump. Does anyone know of any other reasons it will not fit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
