Gm tow mirrors drl

Hey there, I bought some after market tow mirrors for my 2014 gmc sierra 1500 and yes unfortunately I went with amazon, but I got everything wired in except there wasn’t a running light wire for the turn signal which I assume this company just didn’t do. Has anyone ever had to wire in a running light wire inside the mirrors and know a wiring diagram for the mirrors or know if it’s possible to do it, thanks!

But that light is apparently already wired up to the turn signals.

 

If you want it to be a clearance light instead, you can change the wiring to the connector in the door to the parking lamps.

 

If you want that light to be both clearance and turn signals, then you do the above, but you also need to make a circuit to combine the two, but so the turn signal overrides the parking lamp (otherwise, when the parking lamps are on, the light is on all the time and doesn't blink).

You are asking about day time driving lights. Iirc the pin is under the hood in the fuse box. I'll check this evening if no one post the info.
