  1. 2019 Sierra Elevation. Leveling kit and 275/65/R20 tires. This truck total dwarfs my old 2007 Silverado.

  4. Truck is ready to be picked up. I will look to see the numbers on my axle and take a picture. Shocked they called me late today and not late tomorrow. Gm also called me yesterday wanting to talk about extending my warranty. I’m still trying to figure out if I want to take compensation or fight for a new truck. I don’t think an extended warranty alone will make me happy enough to keep her. I’ll keep you posted Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. To stand by the sword i might have just stabbed myself with, I was the one who brought up Mobil1, but i see we are already there in the 45 minutes I've been gone. I think a lot of it is that we are all quoting quotes of quotes... might need to end this before we have 10 more pages for the people who randomly hit this page 3 years from now... In any case I'm at my PC and ill get on all those links from and add them to my original post.

  7. Ouuu this one adds visual appeal to the engine bay with a performance oriented style. You spent 700.00 for something that looks like a performance mod? Ouch! Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

  10. Thanks for those pictures, cant even tell it has a screen protector by how well you put it down. I still have the factory plastic one it came with but it needs replacing. Don't be forum shy here, we have a great group here....we can be really helpful but be careful looking though everyone's mods will affect your bank account lol Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  11. Thanks actually looks legit, does it have any glare with the sun and all? I gotta order it when I get home as my wife has the Amazon prime under her account and not mine ? even tho I’m the one that pays for it ?

  12. Okay. Heres a few close ups and a larger shot for reference for all who are interested. Apologies for not having any reference photos in my O.P. I'll edit my O.P with links for everything. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk

  13. Yeah, it shows the same amount of fingerprints that your phone would show, but the glass feel makes the whole experience nicer. I have an LTZ so having all the nice stitching and whatnot and then you feel that soft matte finish of the screen and it just feels like it doesnt belong, and this fixes that I think. Installation was easy as hell, I had no air bubbles first try, but just make sure to use all the wipes and alcohol pads and dust stickers to make it perfect first Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk

  14. I leased my 19. I'm Not that stupid to purchase a first year . Plus i really wanted a 6.2 Trail boss which they didn't have at the time. I will get a 6.2 Trail boss in a few months when i came back to the states in a few months. ( i do contracting overseas) . Stirring the pot ? Im just stating facts bud. The interior on all GM vehicles are just lacking. Even the Cadillac get knocked for their interiors. You sound like a hardcore GM Homer ( which is ok, i consider myself a GM guy too) I'm just not blind and my GM sunglasses arent as dark as yours champ. No one is whining , but on a forum board for cars/trucks talking about them. If your feelings got hurt cause your dear GM is getting knocked then maybe you should block me or just hide under a rock ? My eye sight is also very good so no i was not legally blind either but thanks for your 2 cents. . I do love me some 6.2 so this is why i got 19 Denali. Lastly , you gonna be ok ?

  17. I’m getting a great deal on a set of the led ltz taillights but the do not include any wire harness I’m looking to buy the gen5diy harness to make them work but it still requires the original wires coming out of the lamps I’ve been looking in all the gm parts websites and they only show the regular non led harnesses any help would be appreciated

  23. i'll have to check that one out for sure! I havent seen everything he's posted, but i like that he does these random ass tests so i can figure out the best duct tape for whatever I'm 'fixing'. lol for sure. Mad that the P.O bought 200 dollar ebay tails when he had LTZ tails from factory and those sell for 650 or so a set minimum. (My assumption was that he did it for the extra couple bucks. might have to see if anyone wants to trade, since some people really dig those things.

  25. I have a 19 AT4 and sorry but I love the interior. The fact there are real knobs and buttons and not all touch is the best part. I own a jeep grand Cherokee and that has all touch for climate and such and its awful. You have to take your eyes off the road, go through multiple screens to just turn the heated seats on or change the climate. Also have you driven the ram with 12in display at night? Try it and you will find out its like having the interior lights on all the time. My 2 cents

  27. I wouldn't go for a ignition wire but rather a amp turn on or rap wire. If you must use a ignition wire I would just wire a mini relay as you already have positive and negative. Then the draw is near nothing and it is isolated. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  29. pre-load adjustment, in terms of spacers or struts, compresses the spring and reduces total allowable travel distance as well. Doesn't help with ride combined w/ things you've mentioned

  31. .. grabbed a quick shot on the way to work this morning.. hill in distance is about 5 telephone poles ahead.. definately better light output than just the high beams were alone. I still want to add a diode to the trigger wire

  32. .. ok grabbed a couple night shots in my driveway of my yard.. the tent in the back is probably around 300' or so from where the truck is parked.. zoomed out so you can see it. Definately makes a difference in light output with the bar on..I pulled the relay fuse for the high beam shot without the bar. Not the brightest bar I've had by far but satisfied for a 20" 90W chinese bar that I got on sale $47CDN on Amazon. .. the install was straight forward.. used a 4 pin fused relay, 16ga power & 18ga control wires.. mounted relay directly behind right headlight with existing plastic plug.. ran all word thru PE split loom for protection.. trigger wire routed across front under plastic trim panel to left headlight and tapped white wire on plug with a Posi-tap (I live in salt belt and these work great). Pop off the grill - held with 4 10mm socket bolts and pressure clips.. used mounting tabs that came with the light bar to bolt down and used a couple oversized nuts to lift up the bar even with the lower grill opening. Grounded light bar with 16ga using a large bolt behind the bumper (there are plenty back there). Then wait until dark, hit the high beams and aim the bar thru the grill and lock down.

  33. I'm happy with the truck to be honest and it's not even a fully loaded RST. Seems to me that everyone rants that they don't like this and that. It happens in every vehicle. Haven't had a car that I can say is 100% free of issues. My 2018 Escalade Platnium had problems out the lot including a seized caliper and AC blower taking a crap. My 2019 Rover has an engine knock at 4k miles. In my 8 personal cars and the 25 cars in my business fleet. They all have something wrong or just feels cheap. You can drive your dream car and still find something you don't like about it. Trust me!

  34. Decided to “rebadge” the truck. Removed the Silverado letters and Z71 Decals and installed blacked out Z71 Badges on the doors. Gives it a totally different, CLEAN look. [emoji106][emoji1786] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  35. Took the horrible plastic "shield" off and put actual skid plates under the truck! I had ripped the plastic guard and I take my truck off the pavement quite often. It's crazy that a 4x4 truck does not come with metal skid plates and has a plastic 'shield" under there! Ordered the GM parts off Ebay. Three piece kit that came with the differential plate as well. I feel a lot better now going off pavement.

  36. Isn't that why the "fast idle stick" was invented? ?

  37. I've had the "popping" noise from the rear roof area a couple times turning slowly over large bumps. Sounded like a small acorn dropping from a tree and hitting the roof. I figured it was just due to body flex in that area, perhaps the plastic "spoiler" is flexing and making the noise. Nothing looks out of sorts, so I'm assuming it's just normal. My 2011 Ram used to squeak and pop all the time, I became used to it.

  38. I had the same thing but it was the rear seat, it wasn’t latched in the back completely. The back of the seat folds down once the headrests are removed.

  40. Installed a Garmin Dash Cam 55. I opted for the parking mode cable (sold separately) so I hard wired it into the fuse panel on the passenger side of the dash. With the parking cable the camera has power when the truck is off and will record if it detects motion. I used the write up posted on this site for supplies and procedure.
