Need Help On Tire Size / Lift Question

I recently bought a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 All Terrain.

It has pretty new Pro Comp 305/60R18 's on it as well as a 4" lift.

After driving it for a couple of months., I think I would like to lower it back down.

My question is; Does anyone know if I can fit the Pro Comps on the truck at the stock height, or even stock height with a 2" leveling kit? Please let me know.

Thanks.

They are on the stock all-terrain 18" wheels. They fit just okay now, but they rub a little on the front of the top A-frame when you turn lock to lock. I actually think lowering the truck and flattening the angle of the top wishbone might help that. So maybe I'll go to stock heigth in back and a 2" leveling kit in front.

I had an 07 Chevy 4x4 LTZ, basically the same truck, and it handled way better. I feel like this truck just handles poorly, and is very soft, basically just way worse. And if I can keep the same tires, but get it lower to the ground, I don't see why I wouldn't want to. I really only have the truck off road less the 5% of the time.

Also, anyone have opinions on what are the best shocks? I am looking for something stiff and fast reacting. I have read alot of good stuff about the bilsteins, but was wondering what you guys on here had to say .
