Another piece of the puzzle got here today. Rotors on there have lots of life but I don't want to mess with turning them.

I'm gonna run them till the wear bar unless during the first snowfall I have no traction. Rained earlier this evening and was leaving a friends house. Slid across two lanes, I think that is a combo of tires and the hard shifts from the tranny

Sent while in 'Murica...

Got my Chrome trim, mirror caps and door handles on today!

Totally changes the look of the truck imo. (an improvement. Yall may not agree tho.)

Not a huge chrome guy but the accents look much better on the new trucks compared to the old where they seem clunky.

Chris, are you getting a bedliner?

Yes. I have it already. I had it for a while, but i was dealing with some health problems so i either had a lot of dr appts that made me too busy to do it or i felt like crap and didnt want to do it.

I did my weekly cleaning of the rims ceremony. Wouldn't have been bad but I didn't do it last week and they were all but black on the"dish".

With the new brakes you shouldnt need to clean them specifically ever again. I still give them a quick scrubbing but it's just for normal dirt, not brake dust like before.

My original alloy wheels were ruined by brake dust, they eventually began to get darker and darker until they were just fugly. Luckily we scored these gmt900 wheels in practically brand new condition!

Mine have a few spots of corrosion on them from the dust. I may try and recoat them someday. I may get a chance to put on the new hardware this weekend, we'll see.

Might as well scrap/sell those and get ones in better conditions imo. No need to spend $$$ on these wheels that are dime a dozen.

I really like the 6 spoke wheels though, they're a nice design. I'm sure eventually I'll get another set but refinishing this set would be a good project.
