This is hilarious, I surpassed you in mileage already Ryan! I'm at 69,040 miles as of walking in the door earlier [emoji23]

You guys are catching up to me, and my truck is 10!

At 88k, and 6 or 7 hundred if I remember right.

Can't break 'em if you don't drive 'em.

My mom's got a 1998 Cadillac Deville that my dad bought her in 1997 with 55,000 miles. Then my dad is driving my former first car a 2005 Subaru WRX with 27,000 miles.

Nice - will be able to pass that history along to some lucky person in the future. I'll be surviving on those type of vehicles from here on out. I've sworn to never buy anything new EVER again. 1973 is my cutoff year. :)

There's still quite a few low mile vehicles out there. Some 70+ years old with double digit miles on them. Of course, none of us could ever afford to own one.

On eBay right now ...

'63 Corvette with 1,820 miles! :noway:http://www.ebay.com/itm/1963-Chevrolet-Corvette-/142177153648?forcerrptr=true&hash=item211a6b3270:g:W5gAAOSwB09YJnSm&item=142177153648

Or a '29 Benz with 3,484: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1929-Mercedes-Benz-Other-GAZELLE-SSK-SUPER-NICE-ORIGINAL-UNRESTORED-GEM-/262754648363?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3d2d65c12b:g:AggAAOSw4GVYStGp&item=262754648363

That Benz would be far cooler if it wasn't a replica.

That Corvette is NUTS

The Silverado. is a beast in this winter weather...really enjoying 4 HI and AUTO on my 4x4 system.

Weather should warm up next week, maybe then I can put parts on. Got a color matched tailgate handle, a new air dam (slightly cracked mine under the license plate, can't have that), a new Z71 Grille, skid plates, and Silverstar Ultra headlights...kinda excited for those. He's gonna look SHARP!

Heading out to Chris's neck of the woods in a week and a half for my most anticipated mod. CANNOT WAIT

I wish my truck had been taken better care of by us in the past and was under 200k miles.

Miles have nothing to do with it.

They do, but like I said, better care is part of it.

City vs. highway driving is more a factor of total miles driven. City driving will decimate any vehicle LONG before 200k miles.

Chevor's truck is a testament to highway miles - it's alot easier on everything to just maintain a steady speed and let the odometer spin.

Power came back this morning and 15 minutes later had 2 dead truck clusters in my hand, repaired one and refurbished the other.

Me and dad were supposed to head to PA to ride but with the 30 degree weather plus snow showers I decided to pass
