Nice truck.I am hoping and saving up to get one at the end of the year. Any complaints or any changes you think would improve truck performance. What is fuel usage like? I saw an earlier post about about mileage but can't locate it now. Thanks

Thank you! No complaints yet performance wise. The truck is really quiet to ride in and the handling is great . You can see the post about the fuel mileage here http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/152411-Put-some-miles-on-the-new-2014.

Beautiful truck. I purchased the silverado last Tuesday. GM did a good job. I agree the vents blowing hot air out of the seats is crazy. They should have thought that out a little more.

MAN! I was just telling a co-worker that I WILL NOT BUY A NEW TRUCK AGAIN THIS TIME. I planned to hold out and just further mod the crap out of mine...but after seeing your pics, I don't know if I can. Sharp truck man, ENJOY!!

Thanks! I was at that point last year too but when they unvailed awhile back I knew I had to have one.

Love the truck.. perfect color combo! I am getting ready to wrap my '07 Silverado in Matte Silver Metallic this week.. should look pretty similar color wise. Congrats again on the new truck... I'm super jealous!!

Saw a couple more chevys today. One LT and one LTZ. I think I messed up when I showed them to wife. They both had the bench seat and my wife thought it would be better in case we ever wanted to sit 3 in front. Hadn't even considered a bench seat. My current truck and her Blazer both have bucket seats. Any one here have a LTZ with the bench seat? It looks kind of like buckets with the center folded down but I sure liked the bucket seat console and the other options you can get with them.

Congratulations Gabe. Be sure to keep us updated as your likes and dislikes become more apparent. Your mileage should also go up a bit as the driveline breaks in.

Don't think you can get an LTZ without buckets.

Great looking truck. I am so glad GM has decided to "update/upgrade" their wheels. In the past, that has always in my opinion been the worst
element of their trucks - my 2011 included.

I have a 2002 Sierra SLT I absolutely love. I bought it from a dealer who special ordered the color - kind of a deep, steel blue. In spite of its
age, I still get tons of compliments sbout the color. In all the years I've owned this truck, I have only seen one other Sierra on the road
that's the same color blue.

A couple of years ago I traded my car on a 2011 Pure Silver SLT with the All Terrain package. It has everything but the nav package, but to be honest, I like the 2002 better - specifically the color. The 2002 doesn't have all the "stuff" the 2011 has, but when it's washed and waxed, it's an awesome looking truck.

I need to replace the el-cheapo All Terrain wheels that came with the 2011. (The original wheels on the 2002 were awful as well- and replaced.) The first year (2008) they came out with the All Terrain package, the wheels were much better looking - essentially the same wheel as now, but they had an opening where the current
wheels are now just stamped. The other item I REALLY wish GM kept were the two-tone seats on the initial year models, specifically the Morocco
Brown and Ebony Ultrasoft Leather seats. That was an awesome looking interior, but I guess the bankruptcy quashed all those previous good
ideas. I was going to buy a 2008 Onyx Black Sierra with the All-Terrain package, the Morroco Brown and Ebony interior with the original All
Terrain wheels, but one of the salesman decided he wanted it for his Demo, so I ended up buying a 2008 Denali instead.

The Denali was a super (and fast) truck but the Summit White color ultimately didn't do anything for me, so I traded it for a new Jaguar.

Yes, saw an LTZ with the bench seat this after noon. I'm going to show wife one with the bucket seats when I get a chance. One thing, the salesman I talked to today said if I ordered the 20" chrome clad wheels it might delay delivery. Short supply I guess.
