I ordered the Zone 6.5" lift, Fuel Mavericks 20x10 4.5BS -24 offset and 35x12.50x20 Toyo Open Country ATII's. They are charging $750 for the install/alignment and mounting and balancing of new tires. They are also removing the TPMS from my factory wheels. Im pretty stoked!

Finally had some time to check the measurements. The answer to your question is yes, it will fit. The truck measures 6'10" = 82" @ the top of the xm antenna. Just be careful cuz it will be tight.

Thanks a bunch!!! I had the 6" lift put on my truck on Monday. It fits "snuggly" in the parking garage. I still pucker every time I drive in. :)

Thanks to everyone on this thread for their info, I went ahead and had the fabtech gen 2 6" lift put on my 2015 Sierra 1500. However, I do have one concern after the lift and I'm surprised this hasn't come up in this forum. The gen 2 kit has a couple of benefits...it doesn't increase the track width which I love and it is supposed to be better on the turning radius. However, it feels to me like there is a significant reduction in turning radius. I called FabTech and they asked me to take some photos which I will do. But, I wanted to see if anyone on here has run into this problem and if anyone has done anything about it with success...such as cut back the "stops" on the knuckles.

I have FabTech 6" lift too, with the same issue. Turns like a tractor-trailer, lots of 3-point turns.

I will as soon as possible. I couldn't be happier with the looks of the truck.

Has anyone tried 35x12.5R20's on a 4" suspension? I have a '15 Sierra and plan to run stock 20's. Any info, input, pics would be appreciated. Thanks

With the 4" BDS you can run stock wheels with 35"s

Would it have to be a BDS lift, or would I get the same result from a 4" Fabtech?

My shop told me 35 12.50 20size was fine on my 16 Chevy, I just wanted a bit narrower tire so I went with 295 65r 20. 4 1/2 inch zone lift

Question to all the guys that did 35s or bigger. How many of you re-geared? Was it worth the extra cost and did it help out acceleration/ lose top end speed by a lot? Did you guys go with the Detroit TrueTrac diff? Also, what gears, wheel and tire setup, and lift did yall go with? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately for me the 6.2L/9.76" doesn't have any gear options available currently. With that being said the power loss has not been bad at all, pretty negligible.

Check out thier websites and see what they say. Every lift manufacturer will tell you what size wheels and tires will work. Only question you may have is either backspacing or if stock wheels will work. If those questions arise call and they'll be able to answe those questions. Then hit up your local shop and forums for advice on the lifts you like.

New to the Forum, but here's my 2014 Sierra All Terrain Z71, 13" total of lift, 10" Suspension and 3" Body on 38x13.5x20 stock rims.

Mods so far: Volant Cold Air Intake, Throttle body spacer, BullyDog programmer, and for exhaust I cut the 3rd cat and factory muffler out and installed a Flowmaster 44 series muffler in the factory location with a 90* turn down right out the back of the muffler.

Still have the stock 3.08 gears but with taxes I'm installing 4.10s F&R.

I still tow my 29' toy hauler with 2 RZRs in it.

All RC Suspension Lift and Powder Coated Blue.

Let me know what y'all think.

Thanks Zack

    • We have now!  2027 GMC Sierra  Early look, but I'm a GMC guy and so far I think I like the looks of the Chevy better.
    • HD at the moment, are kinda their own deal.  How LTZ sells on those vs on 1500, there is a difference.   They are merging most of the mid trims on 1500.  LT, RST and LTZ are replaced by one trim, Silverado.  LT and RST are a BIG portion of sales.    Bad naming choice aside, the new Silverado trim will offer the spread of options that those three trims offered.  So expect to see things like the tech package for example, and memory seats.  And LT Trail Boss will now just be "Trail Boss" (formerly LT Trail Boss) but will offer content spread like the new Silverado trim will.  The press photos showed the Trail Boss (formerly LT Trail Boss) has access to Super Cruise now, which on the current truck was High Country only.       Here is the Trail Boss interior.  Memory seats and Super Cruise are present.  All things the LT Trail Boss it replaces, and the RST it was based on didn't get on the current gen.  You had to go to LTZ or ZR2 for memory seats, and High Country for Super Cruise.
    • I installed a Hellwig rear sway bar on my 21 Sierra SLT, it made a huge difference on how the truck handles, no body roll, the trucks much more planted now. Not sure of the suspension differences between the 21 and 26,  if its body roll your having a sway bar will solve it.
    • So a follow up and my fix. I found in online searches the live data to look at on a scan tool to verify the fuel tank pressure sensor was working.  It showed an spec number towards the lower end of the rang, but in spec.  Then while it was running opened the gas cap and the pressure should change.  It didn't change even a tiny bit.  The data for the purge valve said it was open...never changed. So then I measured the voltages on the plug for the fuel pressure sensor and they matched what it should be.  So local car quest parts had the sensor in stock...it was a bit of a pain to remove and an even bigger one to get it to actually go back in.  It helped to unbolt the driveshaft and bungie cord away from the gas tank to give a bit more room to work. So fuel tank pressure sensor in I cleared the code, and started it up.  I went to the scan tool's live data and... Eureka! The pressure number was different and fluctuated a bit.  So took it on a short drive and pressure number varied saw the purge valve go from closed to open and back to closed.  Drove it to and from work for roughly a week plugged in the scan tool no codes.  I took it in to get tested and passed.  In my state's infinite wisdom (oops meant greed), since I pushed the test with the maximum extensions I have to take it back in by Feb '27 to 'get it back up to date', then my next test won't be until Feb '29.
