2014+ Leveling Kits

Mine is finally done! After months of research I went with the RC 2.5" level kit front only, stock rear block. 20"x9" Fuel Nutz w/ +1 offset, 33x12.50x20 Toyo M/T tires. No rubbing, No trimming, yet anyway. It is perfect for me. Just what I wanted.

Truck Setup: Double Cab Standard Box LT Z71

Pre lift measurements:

Front: 36"

Back: 39"

Rake: 3"

 

Name and style of kit used: Pro-Comp 1.5" Front Level

 

Post lift measurements:

Front: 37.5"

Back: 38.75"

Rake: 1.25"

 

Right where I want to be. Enough rake that I can still load the bed and haul a boat without driving nose up.

-2.5" gain in front

-1" gain in rear

 

275/70/18 BFG all terrain tires

 

Replaced the wheels also since belletire gouged my factory wheels and offered the rims at cost.

Has anyone had an issue of a leveling kit pulling on the speed sensor wires? I had codes thrown for stabilitrak and dealer said the wires were frayed because the leveling kit was stretching them out.

Nevermind dealer took responsibility for it since they installed the level, they just replaced the abs wire that went into the hub. I didnt even have to complain!

Installed a 2" RC levelling kit today and had the truck aligned… Just running the stock tires for now, but planning on new rims and tires before the new year… Just might not be able to put them on till next spring depends on when I get them…

I'm about to buy this CCM 3" level. Any Pro's or Con's with this kit?

I don't recommend any levelling kit over 2.5", the suspension and driveline angles will be really bad… That my opinion thou… Rough Country make a 3.5" kit that fixes some of the issues with a new UCA and diff drop brackets, but even it's angles are a little to much I find…

Most I would do would be the 2.5 RC kit. $169 isn't a bad price either

I've got a Rough Country 2" for Steel arms that I decided not to use. $60 shipped if someone wants it.

3" is pushing it but i ran it on my last truck with Ucas and it was fine. Either TGC 2.5 or the ccm 3" IMO

Have you had any rubbing now that the components have settled? Even at full lock in reverse? Curious because a really want to run 305 but I don't want any rubbing on a brand new truck. Thanks
