I just bought my 2014 GMC Sierra All Terrain Edition. I was to use my stock 20" wheels and add 33"x12.50R20 toyo rt tires. What lift would you guys recommend and why? Trying to avoid any rubbing or clearance issues and looking to install level kit myself. Thanks

Rough Country 2.5" on my High Country has zero rubbing with 33x12.50R20 tires

Hi fellas first post here. I installed the rough country 2.5 about 3 months ago and I'm having some weird squeaks and popping on occasion over bumps and backing up. I think I read a wile back someone was having this issue too. Seems like they just re-tourqued everything and it was solved.

Don't grill me for not wanting to read the entire thread to find it again.

I guess my question is is there something wrong or do I just need to re torque everything?

Anyone has clear warranty coverage on leveled truck in Canada? What is the law on mods in Canada anyway?

It's gonna cost about that much everywhere, because the 2.25" kit requires taking the strut out. Get a 2" kit and it can be done for under $300 (depending on which kit you get). And really what's a quarter inch going to get you? As for mods in Canada, they are pretty standard laws and can be found on the ministry of transportations web site…

I'm from Saskatchewan and I believe the Modifications laws are posted on the Sask government website. I can't see that a levelling kit would be illegal anywhere. The Sask. modifications law reads that your headlights and bumper need to be a certain distance from the ground. Which I'm sure if half the lifted rig rockets meet standards, your half ton sierra with a levelling kit will too.

I beg to differ. My dealer (Knapp in Blissfield MI)installed my RC 2 1/2 level lift for $258, which was $180 labor and $59.95 to re-align the front end.

Not all dealer are honest and will rip you off when they can.

I am referring to any law preventing dealers to refuse to repair if I mod the truck. like MAGNUSON-MOSS

Well, I am sure i am not breaking any law I have a buddy that did 6" lift without any issues. but I want to know if I will be denied for warranty as I modded my level

Not the case in Canada most places, if not all, charge a flat rate. Every dealer I approached about the 2.25" kit I put in my 2012 wanted an average of $600 (I already had the kit)… Best I found was a Mufflerman that would do it for $450… But my 2" kit was $280 including the kit at a dealer…

Labor must have been cheaper than $180 cause the 2 1/2" kit on rc's website is $149. In Ontario i was quoted $500 + tax for the 2 1/2" kit including labor and $109 for an alignment.

I just had our guys install the pro Comp 2.5" levelling kit in my 2014 1500 double cab 4x4. prior to install the front measured 36.5" and the rear was dead on 39". Installed measures 39" on all four corners with stock 18" wheels and tires. The kit I purchased on Amazon for $165.00(187.00 to my door), labour to install and align was 2.0 hrs. @ $130.00/hr. flat rate. The truck rides great, a little tighter in the front end, no unwanted noises, headlights will need to be adjusted. Tire sizing is next up.
