I have the rough country 2" leveling kit ready to be installed, but I'm concerned how the truck will look once the leveling kit is installed and when I pull my 28' travel trailer. I dont want to be one of "those people" that looks like their TT is too heavy for their truck and makes the rear look saggy...

Do an "add a leaf" or airbags and you will prevent that all together

So i put my RC 2" level kit and Toyo 295/55/20's on this weekend. Install was simple, just like on my 2011. It definitely helps to have an extra set of hands when wedging that spacer in there. 295/

I had a 2.5" Rough Country with rear blocks installed this week. I had 275/65/20 BFG KO2s installed today. I wanted to try 285/75/20. I think they would probably fit.

 

Does anybody know what measurements the alignment should be after a level?

whats up new in here, just got my 2015 Tungsten Silverado double cab LT. Want to throw on some Fox 2.0 IFP leveling shocks. I believe those are good for 2.25 level. Wondering if +31 offset wheels will rub with 295/55/20 or 305/55/20. Anyone input much appreciated!!! Thanks

just got my Silverado the other week. this past Saturday night my neighbor and I installed the rough country 2.5 kit along with the new wheels. started around 8 finished at midnight. We took our time and enjoyed some silver bullets during the process. Love the result, exactly what I was looking for. seemed like a quality product and install was fairly easy. I have been wrenching on muscle cars since I was 15 ( currently 31) and this was my first "lift/level kit" had a few beater trucks in the past, always wanted a nice Silverado but could never ever live without a GM V8 car. finally got to a point in life where I could have both!

Did you stick with the stock shocks? How about the rear block did you add that?Also did the leveling kit come with rear shock extender mount for the shock itself?

New to this site I have a 2014 Sierra Denali I want to put a 2.5 front 1 rear with 285/60/20 on a stock off set does any one have this setup or know will it work without rubbing

285/60/20 should be fine on stock set up with a 2.5 kit

Yes I kept the stock Rancho shocks. I removed the 1 inch rear block from the factory and put in the 2inch block RC supplied.

In the 295/60/20 I like the toyo open country AT 2, in my second choice 285/60/20 I like the Goodyear Duratrac

I was looking at those same tires there doesn't seem to be a whole lot for the 285/60/20 but I haven't looked to hard at tire brand yet still trying to figure out what size I want to run

I am currently in the process of deciding what rims and tires to get for my truck as well. I installed a 2" Zone leveling kit, and I am going to get 20x9 Fuel Hostage, and I finally decided to go with the Deegan 38. It has an aggressive look and is under $300 per tire, plus reviews are great for on road, off road, and in the rain and mud. i also like the look of the toyo MTs but the price puts them out of the picture. Good Luck

Do u have pics of truck with the fuel hostage wheels I really like them wheels

      The engine was done as part of the 6.2 recall?   You'd have to see if your VIN also has the 6.2 engine special coverage on it.  Coverage number is N252494003.  If you have this, your engine is covered under this and NOT the GM replacement part engine warranty which is 3yr/100k from the date of install.  The 3yr/100k mi warranty is in effect for non warranty purchases.     This is not any different if it was replaced under warranty without a recall or special coverage.  So if you had a 5.3 and it popped at 3 years in at 50,000mi during the 5yr/60k powertrain, the replacement engine would not get the 3yr/100k, and instead gets the remainder of the 5yr/60k as coverage.     So N252494003 gives 10 years or 150,000mi of coverage, which ever comes first, starting at the vehicle in service date.  So if your in service date is 01/01/2022, N252494003 gives you special coverage of the engine until 01/01/2032 or 150,000mi, whichever comes first.  So if your start date was 01/01/2022, you'd have left 5 years and 4 months (lets round to august 1st), or 62,000mi left of coverage.   So you need to know your in service date to know how much coverage is left.

      Okiee dokie there bud, way to take things to the extreme.   I guess you missed the whole point and take things way to serious. I installed different EV6 style injectors that just so happen to be larger in my car running the same LQ4 engine and with a better spray pattern than the stock style injectors and I noticed no difference in the idle quality. Kinda was my round about way of saying that even if you put the same size but better style injectors in your truck, you will likely see the same thing.    I'm sure you're great to have conversations with in person if that's how you act through a keyboard. One little things sets you off and now I guess my dick is all up in your face.

      I can't believe that could possibly be the case. It should be 36mo/100k miles from installation. Then again, it also seems like since a dealership installed it, it'd all be in the system and you wouldn't need to worry about registering, either. Shows you what I know. 😄 Hope this one outlives the warranty!

      I haven't seen inventory recovery from COVID.    In the few random times I 'build my own' truck or SUV, no one has the exact one I want.   GM has been working to lower incentives too for a long time.    A $500 incentive isn't getting me off the couch to go truck shopping.
