Anyone with RC 2.5" kit getting a rattle or clunking? I've checked all bolts and everything is tight. This is in a 2016 Sierra

If it's the steel stamped A arm you are correct. If it's cast steel or aluminum you might have some options.

Anyone tried 33x12.50 toyo m/t on stock 20 in wheels with 2 in leveling kit?

has anyone tried a 17x9 -12 offset wheel with 285/70r17, 305/65r17, or 33x12.50r17 on a 2015 GMC with a 2.5" RC level

ive removed the airdam and will be doing a replacement in the future but want to upgrade and gain some more sidewall and some width but not rub to dang much

not worried about trimming really but I use my truck for what its meant, off road driving, hunting, on the farm etc...

If you have the stamped steel, as I do on my 2016 all terrain just order the kit for the aluminum arms. The bolts are longer and need to be used on the stamped. I ordered a MotoFab and the bolts were too short for mounting the understrut spacer. After talking with a couple shops, I ordered the wrong kit. The only difference is bolt length. The standard cast arms use shorter bolts than the aluminum or stamped.

Nope its the Hydroformed lower arms, not cast...... sucks

You can run a spindle lift. CST suspension has them.

Socal Supertrucks has been installing quite a few on 2wd trucks.

Newby question, want to lift truck for some 305' on 20" stock wheels.

I own a 2016 2wd SLT crew.... don't think I need anything in back, but don't want rubbing in front, what do you suggest?

Sorry over 200 pgs to scan through

I am running 305/55R20 on stock rims and there is incredibly slight rubbing on the felt and on the control arm at full lock with a 2" level. Not enough for me to actually do anything about at this point.

That would mean there would be a lot more rubbing with the 12.5" width as the ones I have are more like 12"

Ya, 2" rear blocks replaced the factory 1".

Guys, I was on rough country's site and on the 2.5 level, it says NOT for 2016s with stamped arms. I called and asked about it and was told with 2.5, the stamped steel arms end up contacting the strut coil.

Then I saw that the aluminum kit works with stamped arms and rough country said that it works with the aluminum.

Now I saw on rough country under FAQ somebody asking about it, and rough country said there will be a kit made for stamped steel arms now.

I wonder if that kit will include new arms that better clear the strut coil? Does anybody have any info on this and did anybody run into issues with stamped steel arms on a 2016 and the 2.5 RCX kit?

Do you guys know if a 33x12.50 tire can be run on the Silverado with just a leveling kit?

I have been running 33x12.50s on mine for 50k mile now. put the 2" level and tires on when it had 900 miles. At full lock it will slightly rub the swaybar. I just ordered a set of 305/65r18 nitto G2s so we will see, but I anticipate the same results.

BTW... using the factory 18" wheels

    • Nice! I had one here, once. The car dealer I used to haul for stopped by with it. That was over 10 years ago now. Those are SUPER rare these days, especially up here! Never even see them at car shows anymore.   https://postimg.cc/0rvcNZ1W
    • I remember watching one of the auctions on TV. It just happened that they had two little red express trucks. My brother bought one new in 1979, still has it. So I hung on to watch them cross. The retro redone example brought more bids and went for more money than the original one did. My brother has redone his 3 times and raced it. He’s now in the process of making more tame for cruising.
    • I always upgraded the suspension and steering components - bushings and ball joints, and had older cars that I could out-corner ANY modern car with. I used to be able to take my '78 Cutlass on off-ramps at stupid speeds and make the sharp MA corners without even squealing the tires. So much fun. My '72 El Camino must've had work done by the previous owner, since that thing seemed to handle even better than the '78.   I think the suspension & steering on the '72 was much more advanced than the '64, so that probably just made a good system even better.   I'm the same way with vehicles. I hate having to worry about the paint on my '93 W250 Cummins. I'm not used to that, lol.   https://postimg.cc/mzKr55sY
    • BEAUTIFUL!! That a Cutlass F85? Or 442? My side-ID skills are lacking thanks to failing memory, lol. Love that color & year, too!   Yeah I was never big on entering my own stuff, but I always liked seeing what everyone had, the rare models, and what's been modified. That was always fun. These days I have barely enough time to do what needs to be done at home.    Oddly enough, here in MA there are more car shows than ever in history! You'd think up here it would be dead, but it's bigger than EVER!          Took the 940 for its maiden voyage with the carburetor. At first I couldn't get out of the yard! This originally had the "Bosch" system (our other 940 has Regina - single fuel pump in fuel tank, and space-age-looking ignition coil on driver's fender) - that has dual fuel pumps. One in the tank, and one under the center left of the vehicle. I had unplugged the external one thinking I wouldn't need it with the carburetor ... but the way I have the pressure regulator hooked up, 90% of the fuel volume is going back to the fuel tank, so cranked all the way down, the regulator is only supplying a hair above 3.5 PSI to the carb. Turns out the in-tank pump (15 PSI alone, instead of 45) couldn't handle the load. Plugged it back in and went for a rip. Ran great!   Throttle response is always amazing with carburetors. ZERO delay that no FI system can reproduce. Also fires up in half the crank rotations as before. Low end power was DRAMATICALLY improved. There was an ongoing lean issue with the FI that I got tired of figuring out, so this is a MASSIVE improvement! Above 50 MPH on hills it feels SUPER weak, though. This is more than likely due to the timing not being advanced enough by the computer, since it believes there are multiple failures. I can live with that through the winter. Will keep me from passing slowpokes where I shouldn't and getting speeding tickets at least. 😁
    • I like driver quality. I bought a 64 elcamino a few years ago. All original as it turned out. I didn’t know at the time. I made a low ball offer and got it. Black on black factory air 4 speed. It drove like a school bus. It had been awhile I had forgotten just how bad the old cars drove. So I planned on making it more of a retro ride. I would drive it to work sometimes. My brother liked to build cars, I liked to drive them race them. So he noticed the canister oil filter and open blow by tube. He checked the numbers. All original. 327, 250 hp close 4 speed, posi rear end. I put it on eBay made a tidy profit. I didn’t want the responsibility or headache. My wife already had a pristine collector vehicle. It lives in the climate controlled garage. I really don’t care what it is. I like to feel the sensation of speed. Let someone else have the responsibility. I’m too OCD. It used to drive me crazy. I can appreciate people who like to take the responsibility. I’m glad they do. I’ll look and remember back to those days. I’ll jump in the wife’s Genesis to get gas for her. Get my sensation of speed and be happy for awhile.
