6.2 numbers released

Curious of it will be available on the Z71 LTZ. This is engine I want. I don't care about E85 compatibility especially if I need to tow the weight that engine is capable of.

Seems that way. I read somewhere that the credit automakers get for E85 vehicles is set to expire so they will likely stop manufacturing engines that can run it and in turn, you'll probably see E85 go away.

I'm sure it will be with 3.08 or 3.42's, you just won't be able to get the NHT package with Z71 if they follow what they've done in the past.

yep and that was plenty of power for me. Hell Im happy with my LQ4 with 300hp and 370 ftl/lbs

Maybe less with the new rear axle. I wonder if the NHT will get the 6l80 or 6l90 trans?

I'd love to see a non-afm version of this beast in the new HD's....with 4:10 gears! That might make me switch over to a 2500. Gas mileage be damned...that would be a blast to drive.

I'm wondering if they have an iron block version in the works for the HD's. The AFM is seamless now, unlike the previous gen.

It will be in the 2500's.

Interesting numbers. It'd be really impressive if the MPG ends up being around 21/16.

 

Never had much of a use for the 6.2 in my truck other than it being quicker, and I'll appreciate the better MPG when I pick up my '14.
