The Catch Can hoses should be routed in this manner.

I have a 5.3 so my connections are different.

Sorry, I thought you were asking about a 6.2L.

Sorry, I thought you were asking about a 6.2L. Here's a diagram for the 5.3L V8

The hose from under throttle body goes to the inlet of the can and hose from the side of the can outlet goes to the connection half way down the drivers side intake manifold on a 5.3L with the elite engineering can.

This sounds backwards when looking at the diagram from Elite. The 'clean air' outlet from catch can should be going to throttle body.

It would go to the top of the throttle body on the 6.2. On the 5.3, it should go to the side of the engine halfway down the intake manifold. The port below the throttle body goes to the inlet port of all catch cans.

This is correct!

Does anyone know if I can run seafoam in this same like on my 5.3 to clean the valves? Or any other product people suggest?

Seafoam makes a spray can cleaner wiith a 90 degree plastic on the long hose. I and some other have used it.

I used the sea foam and also crc intake valve cleaner. I used the sea foam because I couldn't find the crc intake valve cleaner the first time.

Did you just stick the hose into the throttle body?

I took off the top half of the air box and sprayed it through there.

Emptied my can yesterday after 500 miles. A lot of nasty gunk. Temps have been in the 30s-40s for most of the time I had it on. Though the past few days have been 50ish.

I really hope it's not that much every 500 miles....

Someone needs to pin the routing for the 5.3L and 6.2L...on the front page or something. I think it would curb some questions and help people find the answer MUCH quicker.

BTW, I'm brainstorming another way to keep the backside of the valves cleaner, I hope someone else beats me to it. I'm waiting on taxes to return and about to call Devils Own.

For anyone who's thinking the ebay catch cans are garbage, you may be wasting a lot of money on the expensive ones.
