My truck got a new radiator today! Good ol' warranty work.

Noticed some green snow on the front of my truck yesterday and a potent smell of coolant...dealer is taking good care of it.

How easy was it to tap into your reverse lights?

Remarkably easy. Simple quick connector. I didn't use the module by the bumper, I ran a write straight to the wire on the taillight

Got plenty of work done on the truck today! So here's a few pictures and what is different incase you can't tell.

So let's go from front to back of the truck,

I removed my failed HIDs and replaced them with the OEMS halogens, man did I forget how lousy these things are. Honestly, the DOT pods are better than the OEM headlights IMO.

Next I went ahead and cleaned up the engine compartment of some of the wiring I have added. This mainly consisted of the HID harness and the harness for my light bars. I wired in a new wireless controlled harness for the lights and man is it cool! I think the main "cool" factor centers around the fact that I now have a few different strobe patterns that I can make the light bars flash to, and I was able to program the on/off function to one of the garage door opener buttons in the truck.

Video of strobe patterns:

hey man, what did you end up using for the wireless remote harness?

thanks!

Put and extended cap on my drivers headlight after testing the fit. Adjusted my dim light bar behind the grill and found out why my one fog light isn't working.

Here's the damage. There's also a dent/scrape to bare metal on the middle of the hood. Been quoted $4500 - $6700. That's for two new bumpers, fog light assembly, new grille, new plastic pieces above and below the bumper, and fixing the dents and refinishing the hood, passenger door and fender panel.

I would just get insurance to cover this one if I were you. I don't know what your overall standing with your insurance is though.

That really sucks, man. I feel bad for you. I guess if you want to look on the bright side, you could buy some cool aftermarket bumpers with the insurance $.

If it makes you feel any better, I had a pretty major accident with my last truck when it was only 2 months old. I had it repaired at a reputable body shop and never had any issues with the repairs in the 11 years I owned it. Good luck.

Installed some new Bosch Icon Wiper blades. Nothing too exciting. I was probably too excited in how easy they are to change out. Push one tab and slide out. Not that the older U turn hooks were difficult, but this was too easy.

I'm going to change the name of the thread from "What have you done to your '14 today?" to "What have you done to your K2 today?" considering they have 2015's out now as well. Thanks for the understanding!
