Did you tint the lights yourself? If so what did you use? If not, who did you have do them?

Body shop at the the dealership I work at did them taped off reverse lights and sprayed black and clear coat 7 coats I believe still very visible at night.

Put in my new LMZ LED 5000K headlights. Damn this SOBs are bright! And I don't even have them properly adjusted yet (inside the projector I mean. I'm not talking about having a high cutoff line) so I think they will work a bit better once I do so. I highly recommend these to anyone who's looking to upgrade to some useful lights!

Don't have any pictures yet though. Will get some up soon.

Finally got around to installing LED back-up lights in my Sierra. They make a WORLD of difference (I can actually see things now! :-) ) but in the process, seem to have killed two of my brake bulbs. One still has the tail filament working, the other went from that to completely dead. Not sure what exactly caused this, but since 7444LL clear bulbs seem to be hard to come by, I need to swing by the dealer tomorrow (and ignore the "turn signal failure" messages when changing lanes). :nonod:

I went straight from a 98 Silverado to my '14 and seeing that pic just made me realize how much bigger the K2s are to the GMT-400s. I honestly don't notice the size difference while driving, but maybe that's because I've always had fill size Chevy trucks lol.

Ordered some fender flares. But I'm not sure I made the right choice on brand. Anybody have any experience with bushwhacker or rough country?

Well from what I seen, most trucks from factory get bushwacker, but I wouldn't pay that. I rather get the knock off brand Lund for half that price, they fit the same purpose and look the same.

Replaced a water pump in an 05 Trailblazer with a 4.2 I6 for a coworker after work. Wasn't too bad but nothing near the ease of a water pump for my LM7 5.3L. Made $75 as well [emoji106]

I put gas in the Sierra. Cheapest fill-up in a while since I didn't have to put 93 or diesel in it. :driving:

I'll probably get flamed for saying this but IMO, I wouldn't do bushwhacker or rough country. I personally think that they look more like an after thought rather than a quality OEM kind of looking part. I personally think that the flares from Southern Comfort Automotive are the best looking flares for these trucks. The flares look almost factory because of how they sit on the truck. Maybe its just me but my vote always goes to SCA flares for these trucks. I plan to get some for mine after I lift my truck so I don't destroy the paint on the sides.

I'm not saying that the SCA flares look like they are a factory option by any means, but I do think that they look like they had more thought put into the design to stand out and be bold and completely change the look of the truck
