If you already have an auto dimming mirror, it is relatively easy with a Gen5DIY harness. Their harness moves the power pin from on slot to another. It also provides a GMLAN tap circuit from the back of the radio.

If you don't have an auto dimming mirror, it'll be more involved as you'll need to get Power ran to the mirror. At that point, you might as well run the auto dim circuits so that your DL3 Driver side will auto dim as well.

being that I have a high country my mirror cluster up there has the lane departure warning forward collision camera and all that, would that have any effect on my being able to do this or is that separate from the actual mirror itself?

Off topic... But I found a member today that lives 1-2 minutes away. LOL. Literally, right down the street from me.

If I had to guess, the Lane Departure camera and wiring would be separate from the rear view mirror only because I've looked at the mirror connector detail and there are no circuits for the Lane Departure system.

Do you have the shocks set up to level the truck or a different leveling kit? I have the RC 2" and was wondering about what shocks to choose when the time comes.

I set the front's one notch up, which is about .75" I believe. I have a 2" level as well, so about 2 3/4" of total lift.

AVS installed.... .. before and after.. but i think they came up backwards.... ... very happy with the look... i had these on my old truck.. these seem more low profile than the last ones... was thinking about the weathertech one's but 100$... i'll use the extra 50 for something else... ..as far as the auto up on the driver side.. it does bump it down when i use it.. which doesn't bother me to much.. all the rest of the windows are not auto.. soo... but i like!

there's a re-learn process to get the auto-up feature to work again with the ventvisors in. it's in another thread on just ventvisors.

Roll the window up and hold the switch for 3 seconds after it's up. Roll it down and hold for 3 extra seconds. Roll it up, hold for 3 extra seconds. Release the button and hold up for 3-5 seconds again.

That last reset and holding the switch is critical. Mine works like a charm every time now.

Swapped out the Bow ties for Billet ones, had the front windows tinted and changed out all the rear white lights out with LED. Installed the Bakfilp from my 14 onto this 17

Now just deciding which Borla to go with GM, touring or the S-type

I used a Borla ProXS #40359 as a muffler swap. It sounds a million times better but it's not loud. I kept the valve (although it's pinned open) and resonator. I'd say it kept getting louder for a couple months. YouTube had vids on that model number.

I just installed the OPT7 9005 high beams in my '14 Silverado. They look extremely bright in the garage. I'll report back after I drive with them in tonight. I'm pretty much sold on the H11 low beams, once I got them adjusted correctly (I use LED fogs with low beams to supplement the light output)

No more halogen yellow. 6000k pure white.

Got my headlights from Strykers_Inc today. Can't wait till my trucks out of the body shop next week to install them. Also got some covers for the pods on my hood.
