I had a shorter stubby antenna and it worked great. With the shorter antenna you'll loose stations that come in with static. Other than I didn't have any problems.

Ditched the chrome handles and did some color matching.

Been thinking of color matching my tailgate handle .... did you spray at a shop or use a can? If a can, where did you buy from?

A friend painted the handles. Most paint supply shops can mix paint and put it in spray cans. I did that for the bowties but they are a little darker. With spray cans, it's almost impossible to get the mix spot-on with such a small amount of paint.

I know about spot on paint match. My truck has painted door handles from the factory and they are darker than the body. Outside vender provides them and are installed in the trim shop during the build process.

 

The first cap I had was a perfect match but the second brand came in darker. Sent it back with gas cap for a computer match and it is lighter than the truck. This siren red shows different hues depending on how the light hits it. Your blue probably does the same.

 

There is a touch-up paint company that offers spray bombs but they are probably darker as well. Wonder if a white undercoat would change the outcome.

Bakflip and tracrac. Great combo. Rails for rack a bit of a PITA. Didn't feel like holes lined up well but all good.

I had no idea that could just be pulled off. I was planning on plasti dipping mine while it was still on. How do you take it off?
