Thanks! It was a lot of work. But well worth it! All done by myself and a buddy of mine. Rides like a champ!

How much did the set up cost you besides tires and wheels? Thinking about doing a 6" BDS but not sure if the extra ~$1400 is worth it for the Fox coilovers. Truck is mostly a street truck anyways

Congratulations you've found a service manager who isn't miserable and out to spread his misery to others. He knows what items he can charge off to GM with no concerns, and what items GM can potentially ask to audit him on (usually mechanical things that can be taken apart by engineers). Be polite and you should be taken care of relatively well. Throw them a bone and bring it in for a service occasionally even if you can easily do it in your driveway. The few extra dollars you'll spend can help foster that relationship.

Yup, they are about 35-40/min drive away from me, but I like their service.

They forgot to install my bed LED when I first got my truck, they had me come back at my convenience and filled my tank. Gave me deader cost on line-x, honored the $100 coupon 2 months after I already purchased the truck. I don't mind driving that far for good service.

Both times I've brought my truck in, I've been complemented on my exhaust and asked what type muffler I have.. :D

I paid $4350 For the lift, Coilovers, rear springs, and the rear reservoir shocks. The tricky part was the back finding a reservoir rear for it. FOX doesn't have one for a 6" lift for a 1500. So I am using a 2500 4-6" lift reservoir with the DSC controls. It rides really good. I thought it would be stiff between it and the spring but it isn't at all. My only gripe would be the front Coilovers. They are a pita to adjust. They should be preload adjustable like the instructions say but they aren't. In fact I couldn't get them to adjust at all even in a spring compressor and the spanner wrench. I need to go up just a little. I have some rubbing on the backside of the front. I'm gonna check with a shop on Monday to see what they will charge to adjust them up a 1/2". Hope that fixes the issue.

Did you loosen the little Allen screw in the preload ring?

My boy from high school owns the company so I don't pay full price. I'll ballpark ~$200-250 for all them. His IG name is Maine Coast Customs and same for website. His name is Jeff...Tell him Gary sent you.
