I'm not a lawyer, but, it depends on where you are, and if they want to enforce it. Just so you know, this is no longer a secondary offence. Meaning, for a while now, they can pull you over for tint, points and fines will closely follow, lol...

Finished up an FXR 3.0 Retrofit with Diode Dynamics Switchback LED's.

The install is a true pain in the neck, but the results are fantastic!

Do a search on it.. there is a thread in here somewhere on it.. just cant find it now... but you pull the driver side fuse panel lid off (between door and dash) then pop off the headlight, 4x4 bezel... unplug the 3 plugs... then you can take the headlight switch apart and there is a small spring inside that you remove..

the spring is what keeps the dial from staying in the OFF position and springs it back to auto... by removing the spring, you are now able to keep the dial in the OFF position, killing the DRLs

Thanks for replying, i'll do a search.

Then if i do so, i can't run with the parking light only.

Am I correct ?

Yes... you can still run parking light only... after removing the spring... your switch now has 4 positions that you can lock it in

OFF (which even from there you can turn on fogs and parking lights)

AUTO

PARKING LIGHTS ON (can run parking lights only or parking/fog)

HEADLIGHTS ON

I switched the headlight pin on my truck that has Canadian DRL that cannot be turned off. Now in daylight, the parking lamp comes on when I start the vehicle.

I have the thinkware f770. What problems are you having? Maybe I can help. Maybe I cannot.

Truck started leaking couple weeks back. Finally brought it into my body shop place. Apparently the glue on the back glass came unglued and formed a nice lil channel for water to get into the cab.

Body shop had replaced the back glass so they're fixing it for me and sending it to get the headliner cleaned

Also installed the pro clip phone holder [emoji16]
