Search on the subject much and you will find almost every transfercase drain plug looks like that the first time...mine did at 10k, still going strong at 120k. The plug will be almost clean after that initial drain.

I called be dealer for prices today. Lol

Transfer case drain and fill is $110. Cost me $14 for 2 qts. It was $404 to drain and fill he transfer case, and front and rear diffs. I bough the fluids for $58. That's just highway robbery.

Wow, that's unreal...have you tried looking for a reputable local garage to do that kind of work? I've come to hate dealers over the years, and by word of mouth found a local garage that does good work for a fair price. As much as I hate to relinquish the repair tasks to someone else, I don't really have the time to do it anymore.

I planned on doing it myself. My wife was complaining about me dropping $60 on some fluids and asking me if I really needed it. How many of us on here hear that on an almost daily basis? Lol.

I just wanted to see what they charged to know how much money I was saving.

You know why divorce is so expensive? Cause it's worth it!

The $289 my dealer charges is a bargain compared to that! If you have the time, doing it yourself is the way to go.

Looks good! I'm not a huge fan of the newer GMC styling when it's all stock but level or lift them with larger tires and I think they look awesome! Especially black.

I did that drive last summer. Piece of cake. But I’m not exactly welcome back anymore with my Corsa exhaust ‍♂️

Love heading up there. Haven't taken the truck up there yet but it's about the only vehicle to not make the trip yet.

New set of Fuel Nutz wheels. My old PVD Fuel Kranks were peeling so I got a free replacement of my choice. I had a hard time deciding which ones to go with. So many to choose from!e0b168d80f4c799fc89a0ca303878b43.jpg0eae328a00e24453856fb94aa78925fe.jpg
