Just washed my 2014 Silverado 1500 LT probably for the last time before she gets her new face lift (2016-18 LTZ Frontend but with the painted bumper less chrome is ) Next Sunday!!!

traded my '16 silverado in for an '18 Sierra.  loving the GMC and the 6.2L so far.

Drove it and fueled for only the second time this month. Salt....YUCK!!

Put on 225 miles. 

NO Salt!

changed the 3rd brake out with a full red led lamp, modified it for no cargo lamp function I never use it anyway, I discovered why these china lamp housings leak, the screw mount hole protrudes out farther than the weather seal, so I used a dremel and trimmed it down to the same height as the oem one and now it fits perfectly. I did end up cracking the housing tightening the screws down so I have another one on the way but it works good once I corrected the wire harness it was completely backwards from where it should be out of the box, typical for china junk.

Just replaced my original G2 Diff Cover that I stripped the fill bolt with a whole new G2 Diff Cover

 

Out with the old and stripped

 

In with the new Diff Cover

 

Refilled with Amsoil 75W90 [emoji6]

It’s going to be 76 in Colorado today with a couple inches of snow tomorrow. What else would I do?! I gave Katie a bath and a quick spray and wipe of Hybrid wax.

He’s working on a harness for the 2014-15 to the 2016-18 LTZ Conversion so for the time being I wanted to install my frontend but I will be swapping out with his harness as soon as it’s available because this one doesn’t function like factory. Already told him let me know when it’s available I’ll definitely be swapping this harness
