Not the best looking thing but if it keeps my truck from getting stolen why not, gonna get it modified to have a better fit. My finger is where the ignition is it has a gap since it was for the older trucks that use to have the ear that stick out on top and bottom of the key so ima have them cut it a half inch and reweld it

Not all today but installed long tube headers catless y pipe, custom tune, and went from 33's to 35's, Zone 1.5 body lift and N Fab steps. Driveway is uneven but truck sits level. Think next I'll order amp steps and get rid of the N Fabs.fe81a2f2be018d557c857273a207f067.jpg

Looks great my friend! That zone 1.5 really helps with that little bit of extra clearance right!?

Thanks. Yes the 1.5 body gave me enough clearance with the 35's so I didn't have to trim any. I want to go with a Mcgaughys 7-9 kit but that's down the road a bit. Your truck looks absolutely amazing man.

Exactly why I did the same, not very time consuming to install and just enough clearance for no bumper hack! And thank you sir!

I cleaned my k&n filter this weekend and popped out the side piece on my air box while I was at it. I’ve had the MIT tube for a few years now. There’s a nice growl now at the 2k rpm range that was never there with that air box piece. Now it sounds like a cold air intake. Lol!  I’ve had cold air kits on all my vehicles except for this truck.

If you dont mind me asking what side piece did you pop out of thr air box?

The whole side piece that goes against the fender with the foam. It literally just pops out with 3 tabs.

That's why I always go with a dry filter option, they obviously work well my throttle body is always clean as a whistle

on a side note these newer trucks are pretty finicky with the air flow if you keep getting a CEL you might have to get a tune

Since the swap to the new one, its been golden. Performance is better, gas mileage is better and the added growl is a bonus. I knew the growl was gonna be there though, I've been putting CAI's on all my vehicles, just never liked the big clunky restrictive ones from factory. I do need to get a tune though for my tire size.

Nice truck, what brand headers did you go with if you don't mind me asking?

I went with the Speed Engineering 1 7/8 and catless y pipe. Great price and fitment was great only thing I did different was ordered new OEM manifold gaskets and reused the factory bolts just because I only have 15000 miles on her.

Installed this lok-it steering wheel collar p250

on my 2014 Silverado LT CrewCab

very nice quality but is for the older Silverado that have the ears sticking out by the ignition. Has a gap because of that so I’ve sent the top bracket to the machine shop to get modified (cutting 3/4 inch off the bracket) should be ready today after work will post pictures of it when I pick it up. Not bad for 185$ with a little modification.

this is a pic of the ears (not the specific year but you get what I’m saying)

gap 3/4 inch between the bracket and ignition (my finger)
