I was going to take Pepper for a drive. Got a VERY nice day. I had rained the salt off the roadways.......

County had too much salt so, they salted the roads WHITE. Guess you have to use your quota to get more next year. What a way to run a ship.

Finally got that drive done Tuesday. Salt left the streets. About 370 miles to dad's and back. First time she'd been out of the drive, or even started for that matter, in over two months. Took about 25 miles to beat the tires round again. 😏

Started up on the 10-year-old battery like it was new. One tire needed a few pounds of air. Started on a full tank. Filled at the midpoint not because I needed fuel but because it was $1.81 a gallon. Over a dollar a gallon cheaper than the station closest to home.  (E-85) 19.5 mpg for the trip.

She needs a bath. It was a good day. Dad's a hoot.

Finally got around to washing it, first real wash since Spring 2023. Also rewrapped the emblems to black.

Finally swapped out the 9 year old stock 20s. They were ate up from the clear-coat getting compromised and moisture getting under it over the years. Put on some at4 18s, really happy with them.

No pics, but I finally did the 19+ 4 piston caliper and rotor swap. If you guys haven’t bled your brakes in a while, I recommend it. Both the rear caliper bleeders were seized. One stripped, and one snapped in half. My ez-out broke off in that too, resulting in the purchase of a new rear caliper. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Do you have a link for where you got the parts for $170?

I did my 19+ brake upgrade for 330$ but that’s cuz I got used oem parts (rotors, calipers and pads) from my buddy’s shop. Use the same brake lines and 1/8 washers for each bolt to center the caliper.

Finished up my aux battery install and LED strip engine bay add-on. Red wire-loom makes for contrast, but I might switch it back to black.

My original LED engine bay lights were ok, used 2 Eagle eye LED in the front radiator frame, they fit perfectly(pain to put in). I just needed more light :)

I use the Keyline 300amp Isolator for future upgrades down the road. H6 Interstate battery from Costco, MTA 0300839 positive bus bar, but will also be adding a 4-relay/12 fuse block, just need to make a mounting plate for it.

Not finish with all the final routing, need to make it cleaner. Will probably also move the fuse that's hanging onto the back firewall. Just used the previous spot I had my fuse for my amp mounted.

Changed out my original struts for Viking adjustable coilovers.  Didn't take any pictures but after some trial and error got them adjusted to the right height and feel.  The original struts were ok but when pulling into driveways with steep slopes from normal sloped roadways the wheel would scrape the wheel wells if I wasn't going really, really slow.  No springs are stiffer and prevent that from happening.  Love them so far.
