Well for this specific one it was $2600 fully loaded but he has 4 or 5 different options of enclosures on the site and you can configure them differently to be more or less expensive. Nice probably one of the last upgrades I do lol I know my wife would kill me if I spent that on a system But it’s really nice bro, definitely a nice upgrade Edited December 18, 2019 by Frankielozano214

My factory group48 and stock alternator couldnt handle the slightest bump. I ended up getting low battery alerts. Im gonna swap to a group 31 northstart and likely a second with a smart isolation solenoid that will sense the battery condition and allow charging as needed. It would be really interesting to see how this pans out for you as theres only less then a hand full on the site running 1,000 watts. Let me know how it turns out.Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk

Yet this definitely wasn’t like a last-minute decision I’ve been saving up for this for a little while and sort of talking myself into it because it is something that I really wanted and it’s just a beautiful enclosure. Fortunately I had saved the money for it but seeing as how I’m doing quite a few changes to my truck for the 2020 show season with a couple other brand collaborations/sponsorships and me talking to Joey and his team about doing this for so long he was able to provide me with a partial sponsorship. I was extremely lucky in that aspect.

I have a 2018 Chevy 1500 which is what this enclosure is built for and he produces these quite often and to my knowledge nobody changes anything. It comes pre-wired and ready to install, all you have to do is have a good amp kit and a really good line output converter and wire a switch to the LEDs and you’re right a rock ‘n’ roll. As soon as it gets installed I’ll let you know any strange details my friend!

Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk I had problems with mine cutting out anytime i turned mine up. I’m running a JL HD 600/4 and 750//1 on a stock alternator and battery. About 4 months ago I unplugged the regulated voltage control and have not had any issues at all since then. I no longer have the fluctuating voltage, just a constant 14.

I only ask because i’ve been exchanging texts with Joey today the gentleman that builds these enclosures and I happen to mention it to him and he does these things all the time and even more power and bigger subs and he says that anything 2015 an above should not have any problems running 1000W amp.
doubeleive
You can run the bigger 220amp alternator off of a 2500/3500 on these trucks, these alternators are the same design as the mechman, you can compare them side by side-no difference, I put one on mine the shell is slightly larger is all, fits perfect, same harness, same pulley size. just be sure the pulley design is the same as your existing alternator there is 2 different pulley's one is a standard pulley and one has a clutch

Yeah he's probably on to something as is maxsuperdog. I've done car audio of and on since the 90s and I've never had a vehicle that couldn't handle a decent bass line. I probably can get 200 watts if that before the truck goes into battery saver mode. Im going to give the unplugging the regulator a shot. Hope that helps.Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
