Aftermarket LED Taillights

Recommended Posts

So i installed the new lights tonight. I only had my camera phone so the pics are not great. I will say the lights are very bright when the brake is applied. Also the reverse lights are extremely improved in these lenses. Not sure if the lack of diffuser on the lens or that the reverse lights are not vertical and not horizontal but these are how GM should have designed the reverse housing. I plan to install LED's to make them even better. Install took 15 minutes. I installed them at dark so I dont have any daytime photos, I'll post some tomorrow.

Running lights on.

Has anyone with a Sierra swapped their OEM lights to anything aftermarket? And do you still have your OEM lights? If so, are you interested in selling them? I'd be interested in using them as a template for retrofitting the OEM units with LEDs.

Daytime pics....the sun is washing out the right side lights in the pic. They are very bright in the daytime though.

Mike. The second picture is wrong for those tails. That's why it is misleading. It looks like eagle eye put out a second version, or "V2" of their tail lights. That second pic on the ebay ad is of their first edition taillight. The first pic is the v2. I like them, but would like a correct pic of them with brakes lit up. Also, I don't see a smoke or clear set. Just the red.

That's what made me unsure of whether those are them when brakes are active or just the running lights.

May just be brand new and they haven't carried it over to a black or clear set yet.

the V2 models look like it is made for the silverado not the sierra also. notice how the bottom wraps up like the silverado and not flat like the sierra?

Nope, it's flat for the Sierras. Also the top curves in which the silverados don't do

These lights look great. To me they look like they should be for the Sierra kinda matches the stock design a little. If they made them for the Sierra I would buy them no questions asked!
