Your stock rims will have something stamped on the back of them like this. These are my stock 2014 GMC Z71 rims:

18x8.5Jx24

18 = rim diameter

8.5 = rim width

24 = offset

If you get +18 rims, your rim edge will protrude outward from your hub about .25 of an inch....or basically no difference from stock. You can get away with 0 offset (rim sticking out about 1" from stock) if you keep your tires to 295 or smaller and install a level.

To answer your direct question, you can install the +18 rims you want with any tire 285 or smaller without a level. 295 will most likely need a level. 305 will most likely rub somewhere and is the probably too large for anything other than a street queen unless you go to a true 4" or + suspension lift.

I've got 275s on stock +24. +15 is going to push your rim out about 3/8" from stock. I don't think you will see any noticeable difference in looks or trash kicking up on the side of your truck with that little of offset. 275s look a bit larger than stock, but no difference with speedo or power loss.

Nice thanks for that info i appreciate it

What offset? Any sway bar or control arm rub?

Edit: just saw they were sierra reps so +27, but do they rub? Lets see some more shots and if you could take pics of sway bar and control arm, are they flush with fender?

Here's some more pics. It will rub the back inside corner of the felt wheel well liners at full lock right or left. It's close to the sway bar but doesn't rub it at all. They are about flush with the fender wells. I forgot to add that this is with a 2 1/4" Pro comp leveling kit.post-54656-147837967665_thumb.jpgpost-54656-147837968637_thumb.jpgpost-54656-147837969379_thumb.jpgpost-54656-147837969925_thumb.jpgpost-54656-147837971428_thumb.jpg

I'm getting those same wheels but in all black and 295/55r20. Any rubbing on control arms or sway bar? Also looks great!

Thanks. I have a slight amount of rub on the sway bar at full lock in reverse. I zip tied the fender liner back prior to install.

My full size spare with Cooper STT Pro, white letters out.

Let me know thoughts on the white letters out, I like it. As soon as I have some extra funds, I plan to put Cooper STT Pros all around.

Personally, when the look is aggressive enough (which those def are) I love the look of RWL.
