can you take pic of your tires in the more light. I'm thinking of getting the same tires. Do you like them

Sorry went back to stock wheels and a set of michelin ltx at2 tires. Never could get them to balance. I have had the nitto tires many times before and they are great tires.

I ordered these in Feb as I knew they would be releasing soon. Got lucky as my tire place thought they would be back ordered another 6 weeks near end of March when they were originally expecting them, then they showed up the next day. Rims are black and machined black I believe, color seems to change a little depending on the light84cd0136eb9fa300dc758de9872ce642.jpgd538ee416c9143761659f5b7f4abe34a.jpg146890ee4f7271ea8c66dc695ea09c57.jpg21f95ae16eaa08966d51a09a97cd31cd.jpg26ee034b722af41e3b2c983c09147fcf.jpg

How you liking the tire wheel and leveling kit set up? Any rubbing or other issues, should you go the same route if you were able to do it over?

The setup has been good, leveling kit no issues and still rides nice, tires did rub a bit but I chopped a piece of the fender carpet out and don't notice anything anymore. They handle great in the mud and the few days I ran them in snow, gravel I thought they could be better, and on the highway I don't find them loud at all. Wheels still look good and have only seen one other truck running them which is nice. Next time may buy a slightly wider tire but other than that it's a great setup

thats what I was thinking also just a bit wider love the truck. Have a 15 all terrain with the 6.2 and 8 speed with 3.23s.

You sure about that size? That's almost 34" tires with just an 2.5 level? pretty awesome-blossom if you ask me!

they will work with that level kit. I'm running 295/60/20 Cooper STT PROs on a 2015 Midnight edition Silverado with no issues. cooper specs those tires at 34.3"

Some nice trucks in this thread!!

My goal was to stay tame, functional for towing, and still look good. I also did not want wheels yout see everywhere.

I chose 20x9 Raceline wheels offset is 0. 2" level and 285/55r20 AT2 Extemes. Worked out well for me! Still decent on gas.

kayslays setup was what made me go with the KO2s, but it didn't turn out like i had planned. the offset of his fuel rims makes his tires look wider than they are, where i still have the stock AT rims with a less aggressive offset, if makes mine just look tall and skinny. i do like the KO2s this and I'm glad i went with them.

i went one size wider. that resulted in a slightly taller tire too. the sidewall is slightly different than the rest of the ltx at2 because this size was developed for toyota on the tundra. guess they get a specific sidewall for their trucks. i am very pleased with them. not super all terrain but enough for what i need.

if GM would put those Michelins on their trucks stock like Toyota does on the TRD that would be nice. Much better than the GY crap they put on that we pay $350 extra for an "A/T tire option".

Just got my Suspensionmaxx leveling kit and Nitto Terra Grapplers (305/45/22).

Ordered my 22" relica CK156's today from Erica at Stock Wheel Solutions! She was great, and hooked me up with a better deal than advertised when I called. Hope to have everything installed in next few weeks.

Can you post a picture of the whole truck? I'm actually debating on keeping my 17's and buying these tires

    • Are you going to take long trips in it?  If so, try out the seats in the various trims. For me the lower trim level seats were not comfortable.
    • I have a 2016 that I bought new and still own. I'm around 129,000 miles now. The biggest problem was a transmission failure about 2 years ago around 95000 miles. No warning, just failed while driving down a back road. A reman GM transmission installed and it's been fine ever since. A few other minor problems along the way. I am in no hurry to replace it. It's been paid off long ago and do plan on driving this as long as I can.   I will admit I am leery about all the additional electronics in the newer models and feel that it is just more potential problems. I think there's actually more than I would have wanted in this 2016 but so far so good. I think even if something major like lifter failure happened, it would still be cheaper to at worst, drop a new engine in than buy a new vehicle.

You get awful sippy when people have different experiences than you do. You live a life. I’ve lived a life. It seems our experience has been different. You can point out generalized statistics. Some people learn how to thrive when the odds are against them. Living in different states does make a difference in a persons quality of life and economic outcomes and opportunities. That’s a fact Jack. It’s my truth, my life. Hard work and long hours the right environment made my families life easier. And yes moving to a different state increased the odds of that happening. Stats are generalized. People who thrive don’t make excuses. They beat the odds. Others get mad and point to those statistics. I guess that’s you. My post pointed out how you helped people beat the odds. Somehow your panties got in a wad. Go figure.
