My First Truck

Hey Everyone,

 

Just bought my very first truck, a 2014 GMC Sierra SLT Crew Cab 4x4 with the SLT Crew Cab Value Plus package and the Preferred Package. I am loving driving it so far. It is quite a change from my VW GTI that I traded in for the truck.

 

The one thing that worried me after reading through this forum was the headlights. Coming from a small car that had Bi-Xenon headlights, I was concerned that the standard projector headlights would be dissappointing. After having driving the truck for a few days now, I would say the headlights are more than adequate. I have not had a problem seeing at night while driving. Anyways, I look forward to learning more about my truck from everyone here.

I have to say you must be my almost twin. I also just bought my first truck, in the same color, and am coming from a VW GLI!

Yea it is quite a bit tighter than the VW in the garage. I had brought one home before buying to see if it would fit. The brave salesman was confident it would, but there's maybe an inch on either end.
