Heated, cooled seats new element design or vendor????

OK, I need some help with this from 2015 or new 2014 trucks with heated, cooled seats. My truck is in for heated seats again. I over heard a conversation that my elements were back ordered due to either a new vendor or new design. Does any one know if this is true? Do any owners of 2015 actually think their seats heat up well? Mine barely got warm from day one and have never lasted longer than 1,600 miles. I have never had to turn the heat down because they got too warm. Please let me know how yours work. They found one element but it's old stock. Wondering if there is a new design so I can make the dealer wait for it,

Thank you

Read your truck sticker more carefully. What you really have are "Barely Heated and Cooled Seats".

I have to turn mine down, but not as soon as on the GMT900 I had before. Once turned down to level one, I can leave them on for a long time. On the old truck, I had to shut it off. I prefer being able to leave them on when ambients are well below freezing.

They don't get as warm under remote start as the old one either.

Do you have heated and cooled seats? There is a big difference with just heated....they work fine from what I read. Seems like heated and cooled have the problem.

I have a 2015 Sierra with cooled and heated seats. The heated seats barely get warm especially living in Wisconsin. My 2014 Sierra that I sold the heated seats worked great until they burned out.

The heated/cooled seats in my '14 K-1500 S-Denali get extremely warm to the extent I typically cut them down to the mid or lower setting particularly after driving with them on for more than 20 minutes on high. Of course by that time my interior is also and much more comfortable. That said, the heating elements in my driver's seat bottom and seat back were changed as a warranty item by my servicing dealer when found to be not functioning. My wife also compliments the heating performance of the passenger seat which I have actually never set in.

Seems to be a real "hit and miss" topic here as many express that their seats do not heat properly.

Mine are heated and cooled.

The heat takes a bit to kick in but when it does I need to switch mine off.

My heated/cooled seats warm up to the point I need to turn them down or off because it is too warm. That being said they seem to take a long time to actually work up compared to my wife's Audi.

My heat/cooled seats work great I turn them down quickly after initial heat up

NOT! My (14 Sierra) heat-only are far inferior to my 06 Silv. Barely luke warm at best.

My heated seats dont get warm with the remote start. No other problems otherwise. Way hot on level 3 I have to turn them down or switch to cooled they get so hot.

'15 SLT, build date 1/2015. My heated/cooled seats warm up a little slow (maybe 5 minutes to full heat) but then I have to turn them down. They don't seem to warm much at all when remote started. Back gets hotter than seat surface.

My seat backs will run you out, but the seat bottoms....lets just say after an 1 hr+ drive I still have cold ass cheeks! They didn't work at all during the remote start 10min period until I complained about it at the dealer. Now the backs get hot during remote start, but not the bottoms. My Honda Civic will sweat your cheeks! SMH
