Yep that's how it was here. All the insurance companies were on top of it, the body shops were full of hail damaged cars, and if you were in the market for a new vehicle and didn't mind the dents, dealers were offering "hail damage discounts" haha

Well I have to say I was expecting to hear some negatives about it, but am really surprised that nobody has had anything bad to say about it yet.

pdr is good, a friend of mine does it, he fixed a couple of dents , the guys a surgen. as long as there isn't any crease in the dent it can be fixed

My truck was damaged last night from hail. I'm hoping I can have one of my friends fix it so I don't have to claim it on insurance. He does it professionally so hopefully he gets them out.

Guys that do PDR follow travel wherever there has been a significant hailstorm.

Yeah i know a pdr guy who lives here in IL and he stays at hotels in Kansas for a month or 2 at a time doing pdr for dealerships

I'm amazed at how they do the work. My truck got hit in PA back in 2009 and they set up a huge tent at the local body shop. They had a three day waitlist to get in there. Insurance covered 100% took them a week to get my truck done. It was was banged up pretty bad. It looked just like new when I got it back. The entire front clip on the dodge is aluminum. They had no problems working out the wrinkles.

Some of you guys are saying that your insurance company covered the full cost, but State Farm subtracted $500 from the estimate for my deductable. Is the insurance company covering the "full cost" of PDR the exception, or more like normal ?

Good point I think I did pay a $250 deductible. The total bill was like $4,500 for just the body shop work, not including the rental car for 5 days which was also covered by the insurance company.

I had 5 door dings in my truck over the last year and a half. PDR guy got them all out. Looks new again. Highly recommended at least for the steel panels. No experience on aluminum hood.

If anyone is going to have PDR how about some before & after pictures especially on the hood or cab top. It might help others in that situation. Just saying & thanks if someone can help us all.

SON OF A B#$%$!!!! I come out to my truck yesterday and find a two or three inch dent and scratch in my drivers door right on the body line at the lower part of the door. Worst place possible. I always park miles from anyone else because I have one major pet peeve. Yep, DOOR DINGS! I'm gonna' give PDR a call at the first of the week and see if some magic can be done. If I could catch who done it I would pop their knee caps off with a claw hammer. lol

Do any of your dents have a crease in them , if so pdr won't work

Yeah. it is right on the raised body line. Oh well, guess I'll have to keep it covered in mud.

I just had a dent removed today in the front driver fender. It wouldn't come all the way out working it from the engine compartment so the guy had to go at it from inside the wheel well. You can't even tell it was there.
